Summary
Isshin Ashina was a superstitious man. He prayed like everyone else, believed in the existence of Kami and Yokai that stalked the land. But in his heart, in that heretical heart that drove Ashina to prominence; he held them all to be nothing compared to his own willpower. The belief to win with every fiber of your being.
Yet he had lost. Ashina lost.Now he was reborn in a foreign land, one he didn't recognize, yet so close to his own.
Oda Nobunaga saw the fires burn around her, her ambitions of setting alight the heavens turn to ash before she expired right in the Honnoji temple. Dying with a smile, she welcomed the burning pain, content to be torn apart by the vengeful spirits she sent to Naraka. She Innovated. She gambled. She revolutionized, and Unified.
Yet she had lost. Oda lost.
Now she was reborn in a foreign land, one she didn’t recognize, yet so close to her own.
