When she’d read Colin’s writing it had been full of prose, lovely descriptions, and a loose narrative structure that kept you coming back for more. That wasn’t how she wrote. Penelope’s writing was straight to the point, with little-to-no analogies, and would use one word where he might use five.

Her attention had been, as of late, especially focused on Lord Debling, whose own regard had been duly reciprocated.

Turn's out, this is a little more complicated than it seems.
Originally was going to be a one shot but then I had *ideas* so now this is a first chapter. That said, updates probably won't be too fast as I have a couple other projects I need to finish and I want to get this one pretty far in so I have a buffer when I start posting the rest of it. This first chapter does mostly stand on it's own, though, so I thought I'd get it out. I hope you enjoy!
