Summary
Supernatural fic based off the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" (2002)! I rewatched it recently, and couldn't help but notice how similar the main characters were, so I thought I'd make that dream a reality for myself. :)
(You don't have to have seen the movie to follow along! Though, I would suggest watching, as it is a fun, campy, early-2000s romcom!)I tried to stick as close to the movie as possible, while still referencing the show.

Castiel Novak is an up and coming fashion designer in New York; he has amazing friends, a great career, and a JFK-like partner. More importantly, he doesn't forget his husband, Dean, who refuses to divorce him even though he sent divorce papers seven years ago. To set matters straight, Cas goes back to Alabama to make Dean sign the papers. Each step echoes through the dark, dormant, chambers until he steps onto the freezing tile of the bathroom floor and hisses at the coolness on his calloused feet.
He peels his shirt and boxers off of his skin, turns the shower water on, and steps in before checking the water temperature, feeling the blistering hot water soak away the remnants of every moment he can never forget.
