Summary
The Guardian has been exemplary example of the strength of the Light. For five years, she has trained and honed her skills until her next mission sends her into The Black Garden. A cosmic divergence occurs that returns the memories of Lyra's past life. Specifically, her past as a former Destiny Player.
Now, she'll have to use all of her considerable foreknowledge and inherited skill to save Humanity from the second Collapse. The Witness is still out there but this time, the Light has its own Champion.

Summary
The fall of the Witness was described as the end of a saga. And, the dawn of a new age. However, the Guardian had hoped she would have time to rest after years of being at war, though she knows it was impossible, given that the paracausal artefacts had been created in its aftermath. She was no prophet, but as she stared at the green tear in the sky of an unknown planet, emitting unfamiliar paracausal energy, she can tell that it was a sign that her vacation was over.

Guardians are often stereotyped by their type. Hunters long for the wilds, patrolling and uncovering ancient golds. Titans wish to be pillars, supporting the City or being the banner that others come to for bastion. Warlocks hunger for the secrets of the cosmos, the knowledge beyond every veil.
However, each guardians has but one thing in common: the want to leave their mark, to become LEGEND.Collectively recorded here is many of those Guardians' memories and words for their fellow light-bearers, both intended and not.

As these plans reveal themselves this newly risen pair realizes they’ll need backup or else a second Collapse could be knocking on The Last City’s door.

Summary
Spectrum of Light is a casual project of mine, exploring basic psychology of Guardians through a story. A story of Veronica, a centuries old Guardian who is implausibly crippled, who teaches a a recently revived Kelly how to be a Guardian.
Read and see how Veronica will teach and guide Kelly through her lives. And how Kelly will help Veronica to live again. (Veronica might have an interesting past too. Maybe with some other faction besides the Last City/Vanguard. Who knows?)The Psychology aspect focuses on the Guardians. Their immortality, their duty, their age long companionship with their Ghost, how they interact with other Guardians and non-Guardians, how others judge them, and self discovery. I AM NO EXPERT ON THIS TOPIC
Also I expand on how the Last City system works, with the Guardians organization, The Tower, Military, Last City culture and workings. Stuff we don't see in the games.
All while remaining friendly to the lore. I change some events slightly so they'll make more sense, among other things, but I don't flat out change or nullify any of the lore.Target Audience are fans of the games. I won't explain basic concepts like the Fallen, or Light, in terminology for new people.

For one, brief, hope-crushing moment, Asher Mir and the Vex were wholly and completely One.
Rhea-19 was resurrected on Europa with one foot in the Vexnet. Of course the sudden reappearance (and apparent self-deletion?) of the lost Warlock her now-missing mentor had spent their two years together searching for is going to catch her atttention.
And in his moment of despair, Asher forgot one crucial detail: Guardians make their own fate.
