Summary
General Kahno and Prince August have been together for years, and dream of being married, once August tells his father. This becomes more complicated after a threat on August’s life, and Kahno is cursed with the cold spirit of the winter wind. Accompanying the icy magic that responds to his emotions is a voice in his head that advises Kahno against what he has been raised to think and do.
August lies to the war council and states that he is the one cursed with magic, as anyone other than himself would be killed. This calms the waters for now, and they receive help from the Queens of Relik, learning that the Eight Winds were bound to certain artifacts by the gods, and that Ekran, the tyrant trying to capture and abuse the magic of the winds, is frantically searching for them. August, Kahno, and Captain Markus, a close friend of Kahno’s, embark on a quest to find another artifact.
The story has much further to go, but one constant remains: as long as they are together, they can and will overcome anything.

“Thank you,” Merlin called over his shoulder to the dragon as he turned to sprint back towards the castle.
He was completely breathless by the time he got up to Gaius’s chambers. But the fact he was still grinning – albeit through the panted breaths – made Gaius’s face light up with hope when Merlin burst into the room.
“I’ve got it…” he puffed, bending over to rest his hands on his knees for a second, before striding across the room to pull a satchel off the hook on the wall.
“Merlin, my lad, slow down. What did the dragon say?”
Merlin continued stuffing provisions and other things he thought he might need for the journey into the satchel, glancing up at Gaius briefly. “The Cauldron of Arianrhod! Kilgharrah says if I can get Lancelot into the waters there, then the White Goddess’s power can free him from Morgana’s hold.”Merlin will do anything to free Shade Lancelot from Morgana's evil magic and get his beloved knight back. Even if it means poisoning him, tying him to a horse and riding deep into the mountains to seek a higher power in a lake.

"Did he deserve it?" Mobius motioned to the corpse who shared his face. It was unnerving to be face to face with a variant of his own-- a variant that Loki had clearly killed before they arrived. Loki glanced over as he struggled to calm himself and Mobius decided that his variant must have deserved it with how lost and broken Loki looked in that moment.
"Yea." Loki's voice was hoarse when he finally answered and Mobius doesn't want to imagine why. He had done it. He had found Loki. They would deal with all this shit later once Loki was out of this nightmare-- once he was back where he belonged.
"Good." Mobius used the TemPad to open up a portal. "Let's get you home." Loki scoffed softly, but followed Mobius anyway. Mobius had a sinking feeling that whatever had happened here would follow them back to their timeline, but it didn't matter. Loki had him now and unlike the monster who had chained Loki up and carved into his brilliantly blue skin, Mobius would keep him safe.
