Summary
In typical Xie Lian manner, the poor omega turned and tripped right over a rolling cart stocked with supplies, sending it ricocheting off the hallway walls and into the lobby, leaving dents as it went. Xie Lian, on the other hand, lost his footing immediately and began tumbling towards the ground. As the dark tile floor grew closer to his face, he shut his eyes tightly, trying to cringe away from impending doom. Then, a secure hold fastened around his waist, keeping him aloft above the hard floor with his feet barely supporting him like a fawn finding its legs.
“Careful,” A deep voice called from above as he was righted back onto stable ground. Xie Lian turned just as the beaded curtain fell back over the very last studio space’s entrance.
