Summary
Furiosa has spent most of her young adult life drifting from place to place, unable to find a steady job due to her tumultuous past. When her childhood friend Max offers her a place to stay and tells her about a job opening at the local mechanics, Furiosa starts to hope for some semblance of a normal life for the first time. And when she meets a bartender with an Australian accent who happens to also be Max's other roommate, her world starts to get both a bit brighter and a little more confusing.

And the women in white have been talking amongst themselves about the difference between things and not-things, and being human, and when killing's necessary or when it isn't (he could have fired into their Imperator's head instead of the sand when he had her pinned, defeated, and it escapes none of their notice), and it's making him want to bay at the stars in frustration.

Does what it says on the tin: two legends of 80s cinema fighting it out to the death, Max Rockatansky from the Mad Max series and Snake Plissken from the two John Carpenter movies Escape from New York and Escape from LA.
Begins in the ruined wasteland, the setting of Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior, with Max all alone with nothing but his dog and his car. Springing a trap upon Max, there follows a confrontation with Snake Plissken. Max was almost killed by Snake, almost caught in a violent explosion. Yet he has more pressing matters on his hand: if he is to make it out alive, his opponent will have to die.
Expect blood and lots of it. After all, neither man is going to go down without a fight.
