Summary
Clarke, Lexa, Raven, and Anya have just recently moved to Toronto to pursue life after undergrad. Clarke and Raven are enrolled in a prestigious medical school, Lexa is going to teachers college, and Anya is working at a law firm while studying for the bar. When Clarke starts to question her happiness with how her life is going, she remains tight-lipped, not wanting to bother anybody with her troubles. New friendships blossom and old ones get tested. What happens when Clarke makes a new friend who pushes her boundaries and inspires some self-reflection?

Summary

Clarke puts the pieces together and knows she has to testify against her own late boyfriend and his loved ones, despite the fact she is still grieving him herself.
It really does not help that Lincoln's foster sister and lawyer, Lexa, seems to be the only one to even remotely understand any of it while simultaneously standing in her way, making everything all the more complicated. -

Lexa blinks at Clarke for a moment, her teeth worrying over lip. Then her jaw sets and she takes a step forward, attempting to herd her out the door. Her voice is low, defeated. Hardly a command. “Go away, Griffin.”
But Clarke holds her ground, and Lexa stumbles. Suddenly they’re a breath away, breathing in each other’s scent. “Are you sure?”
Lexa’s jaw sets, the defeat giving away to anger, and she steps forward, harder; a hand under Clarke’s collarbone and Clarke relents, letting herself be pushed back towards the waiting door. “I don’t need you, Clarke”
Clarke dips her head, pulling in a full breath of the perfume of Lexa. The tang and tart of it. But her words are a low whisper in Lexa’s ear.

Clarke didn’t know why she had stopped eating. She just had. Maybe it was the loads of biology and chemistry homework she was behind, not being helped by the dark cloudy days that had taken over the city of Arkadia, making her long to curl up in a cozy sweatshirt, bury her head under her duvet. Clarke didn’t think she was ugly, not necessarily. She knew she was a bit on the thicker side, but always prided in how well she could fill out jeans, turn heads in cropped tops. Maybe it was the fact that her father's death was always fresh on her mind.
