Cosplay can copy a person's quirk if they have physical alteration from a normal human. Like you can copy Iida's cuz of his legs or Eri's or you could copy Shoji's but you can't copy someone like Shoto's or Midoriya's quirk. You if you have a life-size version of a prop then you can make to prop turn into the thing it's imitating. Overuse is if you use it too much your limbs will stiffen to where you can barely stand up.

Because unlike the top classes of any other Hero School, UA's is a full class of convicted teenaged villains, who have been enrolled into UA's magnificent Young Villain Reformation Program. A new class of teenaged villains are enrolled into UA's Class 1-A every year. The goal is to transform these rebellious teens into law abiding citizens and not cause trouble before they reach their second year. Those who graduate continue their enrolment at UA, now lacking a criminal record and will transfer into one of their plentiful courses filled with other students. Including the hero course if they show promise. Even with the tempting reward, not many troubled youths are thrilled at participating at the program, afraid of their new classmates and all regular students at UA. Add in their internal struggles never paves an easy road for redemption. With Eraserhead becoming the head teacher of Class 1-A, the graduation success has skyrocketed.
