It would’ve been more beneficial to fight something… real. Something that can fight back. Part of Mafuyu itched for that action. Since he was young, he’d always been sheltered, only being permitted to do minimal things.

    His mother wanted him to be Queen one day. Even as a child, Mafuyu didn’t want that, even if he tried to convince himself it was exciting. He’d watch out his window to the training grounds, where he’d watch knights battle and share sportsmanship. They all seemed so happy. Mafuyu wanted to be like that.
