Unfortunately for Jaskier, when love comes as easily as breathing, hiding it becomes as difficult as drowning, and just as painful.
Jaskier tries really hard to stop pining about Geralt, but it's not exactly working out. The witcher seems oblivious, but then again - how would he tell?
He was not, in fact, fine.
Part of it might be that the witcher didn’t even realize he was being flirted with.
The witcher, it seems, did not speak the language of love that hides in shadows, love dispersed by daylight and a prying eye. The language of eccentric, outlandish love, marked by sharing looks and subtle gestures in public, kisses shared only in private.
Maybe someone out there will want you, spoken in those tones, was about as forward as a man with more conventional tastes dropping his trousers and whipping his dick out.
Still, nothing.
And it was becoming a problem. -

“Sing.” The god commanded. And Jaskier obliged.
The words tasted of spring, of the lambs he would lead up the hillside at the turn of the seasons, singing sweetly to them in the watery sunlight. They tasted of the harvest, when autumn sank in rich hues across the valley and bellies were full for the first time all year. They tasted out of place, being sung to a god cold and cruel as winter, in a land of mist and darkness.
In the silence that followed, Jaskier strained to hear the god’s movements. But the White Wolf had disappeared from view, and his weak mortal ears heard not a trace, until the god’s voice thundered through the forest.
“Your tribute is worthy, mortals. I will claim him as mine.”
Without warning, the god appeared before him. He seized Jaskier in a tight embrace, pressing their lips together.

Summary
Jaskier knew pretty much everything there was to know about hanahaki. He was, after all, such an ‘interesting case’ to an already rare condition. The first time petals passed from his lips, three healers had debated his condition heatedly, and didn’t reach a real conclusion besides the obvious; he was a unique case of hanahaki. Young, and very flighty.
Jaskier couldn’t help but to laugh at Geralt the first time he saw flowers fall from his mouth, approximately a year into their travels together. Frankly, Jaskier was amazed it had taken that long for him to see it first hand. Geralt had apparently managed to go his whole blasted life having never encountered hanahaki, which was fair, it was rare, but still, wasn’t that sort of oddity the witcher’s specialty? But a certain pinch in Geralt's brow prevented Jaskier from sharing how, when he first saw Geralt, petals had poured out that night.

none of the Witcher training prepared him for this. there, standing in front of a crowd, looking at his brothers, friends and daughter, beside his lover and ready to sing.
All the way there Geralt wondered if this was really worth it. Was it worth embarrassing himself in front of dozens (if not hundreds) of old philosophers, professors, masters of the arts, bards and many others? Was it worth throwing away years of Witcher reputation? But it took just one look at Jaskier, to let him know that yes, it is worth it.
It's basically just sweet cuteness between Geralt and Jaskier singing together in a bardic concert.
There's no violence or angst, just two cute lovers being happy with their family and friends!
