Summary
Too many Hawkes in the roost, but I rather like them all. Marian and Garret Hawke are the older set of twins and a lot of responsibility falls on their shoulders. They lead their family and friends though all sorts of trails and tribulations but fortune smiles on wayward birds this time around. Fenris saves Marian from a jam and decides he can’t leave her. Garret has something sweet going with a certain smuggler. Just a good ol'fashioned adventure!

Summary
Everyone knows the story of the Champion of Kirkwall - Aedan Cousland, who fled the massacre of his family by Rendon Howe and settled himself in the city during the Blight. Who pulled himself up from friendless refugee to noble, to hero. A family man, dedicated to the Chantry, who killed the Arishok and tried to keep the peace in the subsequent years as tension threatened to pull the city apart.
But fewer people have heard the story of the Protector of Lowtown. Another Ferelden refugee, in the shadow of Cousland, who risked his life and freedom to stand before the Qunari during their invasion, who worked with the Mage Underground to protect innocents caught in Meredith’s growing paranoia and tyranny.
Their paths crossed, many times. But as Cousland’s star rose, Hawke’s did not. And when Anders attacked the Chantry, they found themselves on opposite sides. What happened then, changed the course of history.

Summary
Garrett Hawke would have done anything to keep his sister and mother safe upon reaching Kirkwall. He’d failed Carver, and that guilt haunted him every night when he dreamed, the ogre crushing his brother’s chest like so much wet parchment.
So when their Uncle had revealed that not only was the family destitute, the estate long lost, and that their only way into the city was through indentured servitude? He’d have taken anything that kept Bethany away from the Templars.
But of the options Gamlen had managed to orchestrate, he’d clearly assumed Bethany would be the one who’d take up a position at the Blooming Rose.
An AU where Hawke spends his first year at the Rose, and sleeps with everyone he knows - even after the year is up.

Summary
At the height of the Inquisition’s rise to power, Alec Trevelyan made a choice that solidified his position as a Defender of the Faith - and his position as no friend to mages.
Hawke, the victim of that choice, has spent the intervening years consolidating the city of Kirkwall as a haven for those who do not wish to submit again to the Templar Order. His detractors accuse him of emulating the Imperium, his supporters point to the city flourishing for the first time in decades. The Chantry gnashes its teeth and threatens an Exalted March, when there is no appetite for another war.
Then a letter comes from Ferelden - an invitation, and the promise of protection, for Hawke to attend the Exalted Council, forming to strip the Inquisition of its power. It might be a trap, it might be entirely inadvisable, but it’s the moment Hawke’s been waiting for - if he can bring himself to face the Inquisitor again.

Summary
Hawke swallowed.
And if I make a deal? Will you help stop Meredith?
Laughter filled his head, a sound that sent electricity crackling down his spine. Maker, what was he doing?
I will do so much more than that, Champion.
Knight-Commander Meredith almost won the Battle of Kirkwall - and would have done so, if a desperate, broken Hawke hadn’t resorted to blood magic and a pact with a pride demon.
Crossing that line won the day, but Hawke lost everything. Hounded by Templars and friends alike, he retreated to the Wounded Coast as a wanted man. There, alone and hurting, he tried to resist the call of the demon inside him.
But it already had him in its web, and it is only a matter of time before the Champion of Kirkwall is something else entirely.

Summary
“Shit, you look young.”
“We’re nineteen next month,” Bethany said, letting go of Garrett’s hand. “And we can fight. We came all the way from Lothering, through the darkspawn.”
The elf raised an eyebrow, then looked at him.
“Can you talk, or does your sister not let you get a word in edgeways?”
Garrett Hawke was never meant to be the eldest son, the one responsible for keeping his family safe. That was Carver - until it suddenly wasn’t.
AU where Garrett and Bethany are the twins, and Carver dies fleeing Lothering, forcing a much younger, much more naive Garrett to step up and try to be the hero Kirkwall needs, with very mixed results.

Summary
“Maker’s breath, Hawke, what are you doing here?”
In Ferelden, Hawke helped save the world from the Blight. In Kirkwall, he is an apostate struggling to hide.
He crossed the Waking Sea to be with his family, the guilt of abandoning them in Lothering a stronger driver than fear of the Templars. But Hawke hadn’t reckoned on old friends and enemies in the city, hadn’t been prepared for the way his name would spread. All too soon, he is more a liability than an asset when it comes to keeping his family safe.
The Deep Roads expedition might be enough to protect his family, the money offering more security than Hawke’s presence. If he can survive those bloody tunnels for a second time. If he can keep out of Templar hands.

Summary
Being a Warden was meant to trump your history. The Wardens welcomed all - thieves, smugglers and murderers alike. In the Deep Roads, you were all equal before the darkspawn.
Except, Hawke’s crimes hadn’t taken place prior to being a Warden. The Chantry in Kirkwall, the Knight-Commander, the Champion - it was all a bloody mess, and it only got worse when the war began.
The Chantry wants the former Warden Commander to face justice, but the Calling appears to have other plans.
Or, a re-telling of Dragon Age Inquisition with a Warden Hawke.

Summary
This is the story of Kate Enasallen, living her teenage years in Kirkwall during the time of the Champion. She leaves Denerim as a stowaway after the Battle changes her life forever, and through a series of misadventures eventually ends up in Kirkwall and befriending (or not) the usual suspects. But this story is not about them or their shenanigans, it’s about a lost teenager trying to find her place in the world, while also having to survive Kirkwall.
I originally planned to write about Kate living during the time of the Inquisition, but as I figured out her backstory, I fell in love with her wild, younger self, and decided to forego the flashbacks and to give the cheeky, lost girl her own story. Her journey through the Inquisition will be the second part of the series. I am a big fan of Dragon Age 2, so it really was inevitable that we’d end up here…

Summary
This close, Anders could see that it was indeed a person hidden underneath the dirty rags. He was curled into himself, leaning against the wall as rags hid the shape of his body. The few toes that stuck out were caked in mud, while a lock of grimy white hair protruded from a filthy cap smeared with dirt.
Hawke's dead, and Fenris is the prime suspect. Such things have historically never gone well - never, that is, until Anders finds him.

Summary
There was a war-a rebellion led by the Dread Wolf. It was said that he led it alone, with only a few allies against the Evanuris. However, there was one aspect that was overlooked over time-the Dread Wolf's wife is known to be the Cunning Fox. It was said that she was the only one who was against his rebellion. Yet she did not stop him. She instead ran from the city of Arlathan with the few ancient elves to protect them. Not knowing that she would be the last surviving Evanuris.

A Beginner's Guide to Breaking Curses (Fairytale AU) by Frotee

Summary
Runaway princess (Rook) saves cursed prince (Lucanis) from an evil witch's (Zara) tower.
They embark on an adventure to cure him from his curse and help him regain his crown in a wild fairytale medley.Like any Rookanis story of mine, this one sticks to certain central elements of Lucanis personal story.
There will be romance and humor and 4th wall breaks and elements of horror (because fairytales are weird like that). Inspirations include Diana Wynne Jones (Howl's Moving Castle), Catherynne Valente (The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of her own Making) and Ursula Vernon/T. Kingfisher (A Sorceress Come to Call).
