Summary
House takes the case of UMNJ #0413 (Unidentified Male, New Jersey) - dubbed John Doe for short. The moment the team observe the Doe, a chilling realization spreads through the team: he is Chase, or someone indistinguishably him.
Time travel is somehow suspected.
(Short 09.19 note: I just realized a lot of this story subconsciously came to me like a fever dream after seeing an old art by wombatmd on Tumblr so... credit where credit is due?)

“You should watch what she buys.” He muttered. The brown gaze directed his attention to him. He started for a solid five seconds before making a gallic shrug, as if he didn’t get it.
“Shoulda coulda woulda” he rested his cheek into the crook if his left hand, “I should’ve, myself,” he gave him a crooked smile, making Chase slightly elated, “but I was not sure if I could leave a child under eight near the serial nine-year-old kisser”.
And just like that, Chase was gaping, slightly offended and slightly embarrassed. “How- did- how?”.

Summary
House was bisexual, no shit. He’d been aware ever since his teen years, but he’d never once found himself attracted to his best friend Wilson (except for in dreams or when he was super drunk and/or high but that definitely didn’t count).
It wasn’t until “The Tie Incident of 2006” and the weird dream that followed it that House realized he might’ve been wrong and that he might’ve felt more for his friend than he initially thought.
One thing was for certain, he was absolutely fucked.

Summary
Robert Chase is a known pretentious brat. With his father’s money, his mother’s good looks and an aptitude for medicine, his whole life has been smooth-sailing. He is as self-absorbed as he is vapid and vain.
No one cares to see past the surface. Until it is stretched thin, and all the secret intricacies that make Chase who he is are exposed.
OR
A collection of short stories in which the ducklings and House see different sides to Chase that they never noticed before. Early duckling trio.
Ch1 summary:
The diagnostics team are midway through a case when they hit a rut. With tests bringing forth no answers, their typical illegal examination of the home reaping no fruit and questioning the patient no longer an option as she has now fallen comatose, they have one last card to play; interviewing the only known relative, her mother. The problem is, she doesn’t speak English.
When House and the others try to communicate with her to no avail, it’s up to Chase to give it the last shot. No one expects much — House is already halfway on the phone to Cuddy for a translator.
However, will the Australian surprise them? Perhaps he has more tricks up his sleeve than they previously imagined.

Summary
Chase has always felt incomplete. He brushed it off his entire life, it wasn't like he had much time to think about it anyways. His father walked out when he was 15 and before that his mother hadn’t exactly been the nurturing type. Too many bottles of gin had prohibited that. So, forced to take care of his mother and little sister during some of the most formative years of his life didn’t leave space for profound self-reflection.
Or: Chase begins to recognize a part of himself he’s dismissed for years. Thirteen is there to help.

“Is it an after the drugs thing?”
Chase inhaled, dragging his gaze off Foreman.
“Nah.”
Or,Chase navigates life.
