Maya groaned, letting her head fall back against the plush headrest. “Don’t remind me. I swear I can still smell Pedialyte. Two days in school and then five days off with a stomach bug. And she immediately infected both of us. That was a new record for beginning-of-the-school-year illnesses. And definitely one I’d rather not break again.”
