Roxy wasn't always Roxy. Once, she was a broke college student who spent way too much time watching cartoons than she should have, until naturally everything went to shit and she died. Now she's a character she didn't even like that much in one of those cartoons, and she's left with a choice; she can either A, be a good little cliche fanchild and try to be as helpful to the Winx Club as possible, or B, shamelessly abuse the fact she has both foreknowledge AND highly powerful magic to make the most of her new life free from her previous burdens, doing whatever the fuck she wants for shits and giggles.

Roxy had never asked to be a fairy. She was just told one day "You're a fairy!" by six random women who showed up in her little hideout with fairy pets. The worst part of all this was the fact that the leader of the six randos seemed to want her to embrace something she never wanted to be.
Unlike Bloom, Roxy never asked to be a fairy. She never wished for it. She never wanted this to happen. She just wanted to live her normal life as a normal girl. She had some negative feelings about fairies and the Winx ever since.
But there was also another thing Roxy was about to learn. Something that has to do with herself and a certain wizard. She would learn the true history between the wizards and the Earth fairies. She would come to learn that not all things are what they seem.
Not all fairies are good.

As much as I loved Winx Club season 4, it didn't use its time well. All the Frutti Music Bar filler and episode 16 "The Virtual World" could've been used for some much needed character development, and the Bloom vs Nebula fight and final battle were underwhelming. So, following in Thomas' lead, I'm going to be fixing these shortcomings.
