“Hey. Time to wake up.” Byleth groans at the familiar voice of his father. He must have died, he thinks to himself, rubbing the back of his neck subconsciously.
“Were you having that dream again?” Byleth smiles to himself as he hears the comforting voice of his father once more. How long has it been? He sometimes felt he forgot the sound of his father's voice, yet here it is now, clear and very real.
As Byleth sits up in bed he nods in a daze. “I was dreaming about a war…” Suddenly he is wide awake, this conversation feeling too familiar.

Summary
This is my work for the 2025 Dimileth Garden Gala Tea Soiree event! It's my first time participating and my second published work. This one is a lot longer and more explicit than my previous post, and has a lot more of that same humor as well. I'm really bad at tagging and I don't want to spoil, but some of those tags may not be what they seem~
Dimitri is worried about the Professor's wellbeing and lack of rest, like he's one to talk. He decides to reluctantly take some advice from Sylvain, gather some flowers from the Greenhouse, and mix it into her tea. Dimitri is successfully able to get her to fall asleep, but with Byleth so vulnerable, is it so wrong for him to indulge just a little bit?
Five years later, he regrets not going further, and intends to rectify that.
