NCIS Agent Tony DiNozzo unexpectedly becomes the sole guardian of his 12-year-old daughter, Rory, after the death of her mother, Lorelai Gilmore. He’s forced to balance the loss of his best friend, the pressure of leading a new NCIS team under Director Vance, and a steep learning curve in how to raise a child, all while helping Rory to navigate her own grief. Tony has kept Rory’s existence a secret for her own protection, but that all falls apart as new challenges appear, new allies emerge, and they build a new normal as a family one day at a time.
As Rory struggles to find her footing in Washington D.C., haunted by nightmares and loneliness, Tony must redefine what family, loyalty, and leadership mean. Tony seeks an unconventional solution to returning a sense of control to his daughter: female empowering self-defense lessons. What he couldn't have expected Rory to find through those lessons was a fast friendship with President Bartlet’s daughter, Zoey, which proves to be a blessing and a complication all at once.

Revelations and Resolutions is the 4th and probably, maybe the last part of the series Becoming Tim which began with Professor McGee, continued with Reaping the Bounty, followed by In Motion. The stories follow Tim McGee's life as he first faces a personal dilemma which ultimately leads to love, success and an ever-growing family, always including Jethro Gibbs, their teammate and friend, Tony DiNozzo, our beloved Ducky Mallard, Jimmy Palmer, Abby Sciuto along with other NCIS characters. My response to NCIS Season 12 Episode 23, "The Lost Boys". Follows Jimmy and his thoughts regarding Special Agent Ned Dorneget's death, and we see him tell Dorney's boyfriend/partner of Ned's demise. Chapter 1 written before I had seen 12x24 so slightly canon-divergent. Chapter 2 is the same storyline as 1, but with the further context I gained from watching 12x24 and 13x1, including Officer Teague's (implied) full acceptance of Ned's being gay. Chapter 2 is overall better story-wise but I left 1 for my most initial reaction.
