Summary
Fills for N7 Month 2025. Spans across the series starting at Eden Prime, and ending after the Reapers are [REDACTED].
It started as a simple shakedown mission. That was all it was supposed to be. But now, there's a human commander/Spectre-in-training, running after a rogue Spectre, with a C-Sec Officer and her Spectre mentor at her back. And of course the galaxy is ending soon. How hard could it possibly be?

Summary
An alternate telling of the events of Mass Effect 1, in which Nihlus doesn't die on Eden Prime, and instead gets to help stop Saren, Sovereign, and the Reaper Invasion. This is Part 1, which will largely follow canon but with new characters and scenes. (Part 2 will completely diverge from canon, but we'll get into that later!)

Summary
The Covenant War, Citadel Galactic Museum of War
In 2169, the Citadel Council turned its attention to the galaxy’s Frontiers—and found a world on fire. Harvest, a small human colony, was gone. Its cities were ash. Its people were dead. The attackers called themselves the Covenant. Their message was simple: humanity was a sin to be purged. At first, the Council regarded the war as distant, a frontier dispute of little consequence. Yet reports of new species, shattered colonies, and desperate resistance could not be ignored. The Frontiers were not just human. They were home to Maians, Nulls and others—diverse peoples who now fought and died together.
It is said the Council acted. Turian warships deployed. Asari commandos landed. Salarian operatives struck Covenant supply lines. Even the Elcor and Volus are remembered as standing beside Earth’s defenders.
The war did not end there. But something greater began—a united stand across species, governments, and ideals. From fire and ruin, the Citadel embraced the future.
The galaxy, we are told, changed forever.

Summary
In early 2183, Scientists on the small European colony of Eden Prime discovered a Prothean artifact of extreme significance. Upon the revelation of it's discovery, the Systems Alliance Treaty Organization sent a small team to secure it, and transport it to the citadel. A routine shakedown. A simple milk run.
They failed.
With the beacon destroyed and Saren Arterius and his Geth allies cutting a swath across the known Galaxy, S.A.T.O. tasks United States Navy Commander John Shepard, first Human Spectre and N7 operative to hunt Saren and his ilk to the ends of the galaxy, and uncover the motives behind these devastating attacks.
In the process, Shepard builds a crack team, uncovers a conspiracy billions of years in the making, and even finds love.
[Takes place in an Alternate Universe, wherein Earth's nations have much more sway, Humanity never discovered Element Zero, and the First Contact War was far more disastrous, ending in a small nuclear exchange, which killed over 2 million people.]

Summary
Jane Shepard survives the gutters of a post‑Contact Earth until a flare of emerging biotics pulls her into a Council‑funded research institute on the Citadel. There she meets Spectre Saren Arterius, the turian legend whose stalled hunt for Dr. Qian’s Prothean relic drives him to other means of staunching humanity's advancement: guardianship of the human prodigy. Through shrewd persuasion, he takes on the orphan as his ward, intent on shaping her into a model Spectre for Council display, even as he grips the unseen reins in his talons.
Saren turns her childhood days into field drills, war‑room simulations, and lessons in diplomatic knife‑work. He controls nearly every aspect of her life, leaving Shepard one private refuge: a risky friendship with hot‑headed cadet Garrus Vakarian — until her almost-father severs that, too. Learning what it means to be a person proves harder than functioning as a tool, yet Shepard can't help but to question her identity. When the long‑silent Reapers finally stir, Shepard must decide whether she is Saren’s instrument, the Alliance’s champion, or something forged in the tight space between obedience and revolt. The galaxy’s stance — kneeling or standing — will turn on her choice.

Summary
One minute, you're doing your nth run of the Mass Effect trilogy in your pajamas, the next ... You're waking up in that same universe, which wasn't on your bucket list.
What was fiction five minutes ago is now terrifyingly real. You’re expected to function as Earthborn Commander Shepard, morally gray and questionable coping skills.
Your only consistent backup? A chow-chow-shaped mech dog named Sebastian who silently judges your every questionable life choice.
Knowing what’s coming doesn’t make it easier. The choices still hurt. People still die. And the weight of saving the galaxy hits different when you’re the one holding the gun.
You’re holding it together with duct tape, caffeine, and pure spite.

Summary
I was harshly ripped from my life and catapulted into another.
For one hundred and something years, I've been a human popsicle, perfectly preserved and warped through time and space. To make matters even more insane, everything around me resembled a fictional universe.
I knew what was coming, and wanted to run screaming, but there was nowhere to go.

In which a normal woman wakes up in a fictional universe, and tries to live day by day. Slice of life at first, will eventually go into bigger drama. Self-indulgent. Might put rating up later.
(UNEXPECTED REMAKE/REBOOT)

Summary
Because firing a Prothean superweapon whose effect, beyond the vague 'killing the Reapers', you didn't know, built in haste by said people that didn't understand what they were looking at and likely wouldn't realise if something wasn't quite right, never mind the risk that the blueprint they were following wasn't even complete, couldn't possibly go wrong.
Really, this shit was just about par for the course by now, Shepard mused.
Or:
Seconds after firing the Crucible, Shepard wakes up on the original Normandy, headed for Eden Prime, with parts of the crew clearly remembering as much as she does. -

*Explicit rating reasons beginning at Ch 11* Nihlus Kryik is supposed to die on Eden Prime. Almost all of the parallels in the universe dictate and demand his death. Subsequently, in all of these parallels, Shepard does not or cannot witness his murder. But what happens when Shepard accidentally stumbles upon a twisted scene of betrayal and locks eyes with the victim? A new, broken parallel emerges, throwing Shepard into a circular chaos where she must continue to protect Nihlus's now fragile life. If he dies, they start over. But how does the cycle end?

I was living a normal life. Yes, it was mundane and a bit boring, but it was all right. I had friends and family. When I saw a car that was going to run over a child, I decided that they were too young to die like that. So I played the hero card and pushed them out of the way, but nobody told me that I would die from a broken rib that pierced my lung.
Oh well, death is only a new beginning after all.

Summary
In the aftermath of Shepard's injuries on Vimire, Nihlus makes a series of decisions that land her right back where she started when they met: held in a Cerberus facility. The time taken to resurrect her is much shorter, owing to her alternative death during the Battle of the Citadel and immediate transfer to Lawson's skilled hands.
My favourite battle couple swing back into action playing triple agents, dragging Adrien Victus/other Turians, Aria T’Loak, Sole Survivor and The Hero of Elysium further into the events leading upto news of their return from the dead breaking.
Exploring a darker Shepard who isn't quite as tortured over her return and spends far more time with her creators than we get in game before the Collectors arrive. Follows on from Acta Non Verb in which Cerberus orchestrated Torfan, Azuke and Elysium in order to find a “Champion.”
Covering the time between 1-2.
