Summary
She was so done. She wanted to scream. Or take a nap. Or better yet, both. And never have to deal with all the stupidity. But no, that wasn't an option. Maybe she could take a short hiatus, and then make a plan and actually get things done, because the whole situation was ridiculous.
First things first though. If she was going to release emotions, she needed to get out of Paris, out of Hawkmoth's range. So, Kaalki it was.Marinette decides she's had enough, and works to develop and implement long-term plans for both herself and the miraculi. No longer will she rely on merely surviving day-to-day and fight-to-fight, because clearly that isn't working to resolve either the Lila or the Hawk Moth situations.
Or, some time ago the author read a ton of Lila salt and ML x DC/Batman fics and got fed up with the tropes, so decided to try developing a story in which the tropes are used in non-standard/semi-realistic ways. Also decided to throw in a dash of financial-ish and real-life-ish info/advice, because why not, and got too fed up with trying to figure out how school systems work so I just invented a whole new one.
