Summary
Ken Takakura knows he’s different. He’s known it for a long time.
As the distance between him and his classmates grows year by year, he starts to wonder if he was abducted as a child. It’s a common enough story in the magazines he reads, someone vanishes, only to return... different. Not quite right.
It would explain a lot.
It would have to have happened early—so early he doesn’t remember ever being anyone else.
