Summary
Piper Hart is living her best life at law school—until she suddenly starts experiencing strange, uncontrollable bursts of power. At first, she thinks it’s stress from finals, but when she accidentally causes a campus wide black-out, she realizes that something is seriously wrong.
Desperate for help, she calls Henry—but to her shock, he’s unreachable. As it turns out, Henry, Charlotte, and Jasper are on the run. The events in Dystopia have escalated, and Henry and his friends have become fugitives, forced into hiding as they work to undo the damage caused by Eclipse Industries, a shadow organization interested in human enhancement.
Unable to get help from her brother, Piper turns to an unlikely source for guidance. Ray Manchester—who has officially retired as Captain Man—agrees to help her, albeit reluctantly. With Henry out of the picture, it’s up to Ray to train Piper to control her newfound powers, though his teaching methods are far from conventional.
As danger circles closer and secrets unravel, Piper will have to decide who she can trust, and who she wants to be when everything falls apart.

This fic takes place between Seasons 4 and 5 of the show. Henry gets hit by a ray that makes everything *more*: more painful, more resonant, more *visible*. He thought he had a pretty clear view of his life—how everything worked and what it all meant. He couldn't have been more wrong.

Like a sponge taking in water, his insides swelled to double—triple the size they’d been before. Henry lifted his back off the ground in shock, eyes shooting open as he gasped for air. A new kind of aching hit him as his lungs pressed against his ribcage, or at least felt like they were—a large amount of feeling trapped with nowhere to go.

His gloved fingertips trace the cut on her cheek gently, and as he eyes it intently, she looks up at him gently, her hand wrapping against his wrist. “You saved me.” She repeats and she sees a small smile ghost his lips.
“And I always will.” He vows. She smiles up at him then, hoping to get the same in return, but his gaze darkens, and he is looking at her with a veiled desire that causes her to gulp in anticipation. It is as he glances down at her lips for a tantalizing moment that she forgets how to breathe and as he catches her eyes and repeats the notion, he is leaning down to claim her.
She lets it happen, and just as she feels the gentle touch, a loud beep breaks through the silence and shatters the dream before it can escalate.
She shoots up from her bed then, startled awake and looking around in a panic of sorts

The zoo dream is just the beginning of a long road for Charlotte Page who is tortured by dreams, by desires for her best friend, Henry Hart.
(Based loosely on Season 5 episode 'I Dream of Danger' + a slight stray from Canon)

Jasper, Charlotte, Henry and Kara are in History class working after school Charlotte, Henry and Kara go to Junk N' Stuff take the elevator down to the man cave where they introduce her to Schwoz and Ray. Later Kara gets kidnapped by Dr. Minyak in the Lil' Biker Shop as bait for Captain Man and Kid Danger. When they get there Kid Danger saves Supergirl and helps her. Will she be unconscious when they find her? Will Captain Man or Kid Danger carry her back to the man cave? Will she be happy with them?
