Callie enjoys working at Citadel – the people working there are lovely, and Jack is the best boss she’s ever had. But watching him pine for Furiosa for the past couple of months has bordered on painful. And Furiosa, bless her stoic little heart, is crushing on their boss just as hard, but is too stubborn to own up and do anything about it. This story takes place a few days after the first in this goofy series, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” If you haven’t read that story, here’s the gist: after much yearning and flirting, on Christmas Eve, roommates Furiosa and Jack exchanged cute gifts and finally became More Than Friends :)
