Summary
“How much?”
Obi-Wan refrains from sighing in victory. “What sounds fair to you?”
“To just sleep?” The body in his arms turns. “Another $200.”
“Alright.” He doesn’t know what the going rate is, and doesn’t care. $300 to be delivered safely back to his hotel, comforted, and given a good night’s sleep seems like a fine price to him. “What’s your name?”
“What for? You’re not writing me a check.”
Obi-Wan smiles wryly. “I keep calling you ‘kid’ in my head. I’m starting to feel like a bad old man.”
There’s a long-suffering sigh that Obi-Wan feels with his entire body, and then a reluctant, “Anakin.”

Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi was familiar with flowers. He knew every inch of them—what they meant, how they tasted, how they smelt. Flowers, some might say, were his speciality.
After years of knowing them, he grew a disdain for them. The short times when they were gone, he didn’t miss them. When they returned, he yearned for their absence.
Almost as much as he yearned for a love he could never quite keep.

Summary
“Mandalorian kids?” Quinlan wore a deep frown on his face, knowing how troublesome that was for the Republic.
“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.
Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.
“I’ll take the risk.”

It takes one conversation for Anakin to realize he’s been falling in love with Obi-wan almost half his life.
It takes him another half year to say it out loud.
Longer for him to convince Obi-wan he means it.
And what feels like forever to get Obi-wan to say it back.

Summary
Scattered on marble floors like discarded filth—their robes pooling out underneath them like twisted, bloodied wings—Jedi lay dead in their home. Open, terrified eyes staring up blankly at a high ceiling. Hands still clamped onto useless metal hilts in a morbid symbol of religious hope to a weapon that had evidently failed them in the face of death.
OR: Anakin and Obi-Wan's conversation about Anakin spying on Palpatine spirals into an argument about Obi-Wan not trusting Anakin. Somehow, this causes Anakin to stay in the Council Chambers when order 66 happens. He fights desperately to protect any Jedi he can, and when the order is suddenly stopped and the clones turn back to their regular selves, Anakin is gravely injured.

The Jedi Council, concerned for their High General, "fixes" it- by assigning him a new padawan he doesn't want and isn't ready for. Serla Krynn just desperately wants to learn, to find adventure in the midst of war, and to please this strange man who is supposed to be the best of the Jedi.
They have a lot to learn from each other.Featuring an OC Jedi Padawan. Heavily featuring plots, characters, and storylines from the movies and series, but diverging from canon timelines right away. Crossposted from Tumblr. Come follow along this saga with me, it's gonna be fun.

Summary
There used to be a time when it was his duty to push and pry, claw open Anakin's head to look closer and demand an answer to something that didn’t want to be found. Now, with the blur of hyperspace outside their windows, and hundreds of sets of identical eyes pointed towards them both, it seemed inappropriate.
Or maybe it was the fact that the line in the sand of 'Master and Padawan' had been blurred by Obi-Wan’s own selfishly horrible human desires. Even if he tried to push more gentleness, leverage that affection that he was so careful about in the first place as a coaxing towards the medbay, it seemed to push Anakin farther away, like a magnet sensing an ion field, shoving itself back towards empty black space in retaliation.
---
Anakin is acting strange. It's starting to rub off onto Obi-Wan.

Summary
But still, he did not expect, when sending Anakin ahead while he paused to speak to an attendant, for the next noise he heard to be his name, shouted.
He bursts into the private bath he'd selected for them, steam in his eyes and his heart in his throat, fear gripping him until he can't breathe. "Anakin!" he calls, feeling an answering wash of alarm through their still-nascent training bond.
"I'm here," Anakin replies, bewildered. "But what the kark is that?”
Obi-Wan is about to correct the swearing when his eyesight clears through the steam and he sees what Anakin means, and then the correction is the last thing on his mind, because his very fragile, unorthodox, too-old Padawan appears to have grown a tail
Obi-Wan stares.

Summary
“Ani?” Eirtaé asked, voice cracking. “You’re…”
Anakin waved weakly, awkwardly. “Hi,” he said and immediately winced. Hi? Oh yes, what a great way to begin. Somewhere in the Force, Padmé was laughing at him.
But it seemed the sound of his voice was enough to rattle even Sabé, to kick her right out of shock and into action. Mount Sabé immediately erupted.
“ANAKIN NABERRIE, WHERE THE KRIFF HAVE YOU BEEN!?”

Glimpses of a galaxy where Anakin never Fell, but the Republic was always destined to. Forced into hiding, it's time for Anakin to help the rebellion from the shadows, all while trying to keep what’s left of his family together.
Or: as requested on tumblr, I'm uploading my snippets for a planned (much larger) series here too!
The galaxy is in chaos, being the Chosen One puts Anakin in the limelight a lot more than anyone wants, Padmé is the glue keeping everyone together, and Obi-Wan and Owen simply can't stand each other.Series

Summary
“It doesn’t matter if this Luke Orleia isn’t a sith. He’s a rogue force user enacting vigilante justice in the outer rim and calling himself a Jedi,” Windu’s holo flickers on his last word.
Anakin thinks of the man he met on Tatooine all those months ago. His— his maybe brother?
“I don’t think he ever called himself a Jedi.”
All eyes turn on Anakin where he stands next to his former master. He can feel the pressure of them.
“It doesn’t matter if he's never said it, Skywalker,” Windu taps open a holo displaying a ship painted with a pair of stars rising between flared wings that, from a certain view, could be mistaken for the Jedi wings and sword of light.
Well, Kark.

Summary
With the looming presence of death watch in Mandalore threatening Duchess Satine’s safety, the republic had deemed it necessary the duchess stay safe in the quarters of Coruscant, where she can be closely guarded by an ample amount of clone troopers.
Although dismayed by the fact she'd have to leave Mandalore momentarily, the Jedi council assisting her transport to Coruscant have been quite pleasant.
With all of the weight she'd been carrying as the leader of Mandalore, there was one which she carried quite blissfully though it pained her so. She couldn't quite explain it but; although it was saddening how she and Obi-wan could only be a leader and a jedi, nothing more or less, she was glad at where they stood.
Through stolen glances, slight grazes, she was already content with that. After all, she understood; they were very different people.

Summary
In which Obi-wan has to move back to his small hometown in the middle of nowhere, Florida, to take care of his younger siblings following the death of their adoptive father Qui-gon. Unfortunately, for as much as Obi-wan loves to act like he has everything and anything together, like he was put together, he was just as much of a mess as everyone else. Who was he kidding? He was more of a mess. He had barely managed to get a routine implemented when it was him alone, but now caring for both Anakin and Ahsoka while attempting to ignore the pressing issue that he hadn't been home in years and left on bad terms with Qui-gon, the one time he visited. Obi wasn't cut out for this, and he knew it. A fiasco in the kitchen provides a distraction with a firefighter on the phone who had a nice voice and a sharp mind, but it was just that, a distraction. Obi-wan was counting himself lucky if he managed to make it through the week without being utterly consumed by the guilt of unsaid words and the whispers of broken promises that haunted him throughout his childhood home.

Summary
The bar was what it was, a pick-up bar, so seeing a Jedi was neither a common sight nor a good sign. Everyone knew that if a Jedi came to you, you had fucked up, or had a reputation for knowing someone who had. With the war going on, this was the kind of situation no one would want to get into with strange wizards whose public reputation was in permanent freefall as the months went by.
Obi-Wan was not watching the Kel Dor closely for the same reason as the others, though. He would not be the first Jedi he had come across in the area, and they usually all came for the same thing. Something he was happy to provide.
He did not see a threat, he saw a potential customer.
