Qiao Ling does a lot for those dumbass boys of hers. Case in point, she is currently bored out of her mind waiting for a brunch appointment who has long passed the point of fashionably late. Even worse, she’s sitting alone and hungry because the prices at this shitty cafe are too high for her to justify shilling out for even the cheapest item on the menu. She’s really got to get those two to start subsidizing these brunch appointments. Cheng Xiaoshi would cry extortion, but Lu Guang would probably give in if she complained enough. Call it the cost of doing business.
It really is their fault that a pretty girl like her had to wake up at an ungodly hour and brave the morning rush just to meet with a prospective client. At least Lu Guang has an excuse since he typically takes the morning shift at the studio. On the other hand, she knows for a fact that Cheng Xiaoshi is still lazing around in his bed, dead to the world. She makes a mental note to chew him out on his sleeping habits the next time she sees him. It would probably make Lu Guang laugh at the very least, and lord knows he needs some compensation for putting up with his stupid roommate all the time. Victims of Cheng Xiaoshi the both of them.
