The break between the ‘Prime’ timeline and the ‘Contingency’ timeline caused some of the Miraculous powers to work slightly differently, forcing Ladybug and Chat Noir to adapt to a new world, as they slowly learn what has happened.

Err, no, as two of Ben's greatest enemies have been sighted in Paris, and a partnership with these locals might be the only thing standing between them and the Eiffel Tower becoming a doomsday device ready to mutate all of Europe...
