Summary
From the window of Shang Qinghua’s office, Mobei Jun spies him grabbing a handful of toasted melon seeds all the while trying not to fall flat on his face and onto the document he’s drafting. He shoves the seeds in his mouth and promptly spits them out as soon as he realizes they’re unpeeled. He runs a hand through his face in notable exhaustion almost doing so with the hand holding the brush and nearly staining his face with ink.
Mobei Jun sees Shang Qinghua stifling a yawn, rapidly shaking his head in an attempt to will away his exhaustion, and reaches a decision.
If Shang Qinghua won’t take care of himself, then Mobei Jun is taking matters into his own hands.

“Wait, what?” Shang Qinghua exclaimed as Shen Qingqiu quickly swept out of the room in a blur of green and white robes. He leaned his chair back to get a look at the Qing Jing Peak Lord’s retreating figure in the hallway. “Hey! Cucumber-bro!!”
Without looking back, Shen Qingqiu made a sharp right turn, disappearing from sight. Shang Qinghua sighed, slumping back in his chair. Only Shen Qingqiu could make what was by all accounts running away after asking a favor look elegant.
…Wait. Did Cucumber-bro, Shang Qinghua's biggest critic in a previous life, and arguably a strong contender for his biggest critic in this life, just ask him to be his editor?
(Or, Shen Qingqiu is writing a monster manual)

The hierarchy of peaks in Cang Qiong exists for a reason; if something happens to the sect leader, Peak Lord Qing Jing is appointed as the next in charge; if something happens to him, then control goes down the chain. When half, the six peak lords, disappear along with the fucking building in an explosion, then the next sect head on the count is Peak Lord An Ding.
Shang Qinghua is completely unprepared for this.
Or: 6 Peak Lords accidentally get caught in a time collapse, only to return 7 years later. The rest of them have to live those years without them.
