Summary
After the events of her fifth year, Lavinia Lin's secrets have been exposed. Her mentor is gone, her father arrested, her friends ignoring all of her letters, and the Ministry thinking her responsible for Fig's death, she's not sure what to do next. Back at square one, she decides there's really only one way forward: try to fix her mistakes, all the while trying to master her control over ancient magic and find a cure for her sick mother.
Even if that means returning to the place where it all started: Hogwarts.
Unfortunately, nothing is that easy, as she deals with the consequences of her choice to absorb the power of the repository.
