Summary
The sun here burned brighter than it did on Krypton. Yellow, angry, and hot, beating down on the land with such force that it was difficult to believe anything could grow underneath its bending rays. And yet it did—barely—but still. Golden leaves stretched limply into the sky, wilting against the dry, agonizing heat. Sprouting from the dirt, little weeds of green and brown clambered up out of the ground, standing armed against the hefty sun.
