“- by my honesty in admitted scruples about our relationship,” Mr. Edgeworth concluded with an icy stare. “Could you expect me to rejoice in the inferiority of your circumstances? To congratulate myself on the hope of forming a union with a man whose situation in life is so decidedly beneath my own?”
Phoenix felt himself growing angrier every moment, and he struggled to keep his composure as he angrily exclaimed, “Those are not the words of a gentleman, Mr. Edgeworth. When I saw you again after all these years, I knew you’d changed. But your arrogance and conceit, your selfish disdain for the feelings of others, and your self-centred motivations for prosecuting - all these things made me realize that you were the last man in the world I could ever be prevailed upon to marry.”

A collection of Ace Attorney one-shots that take place after Trials and Tribulations, in a universe in which Dhurke finds and contacts the Gramaryes before he takes Apollo to America. They agree to take him in on a number of conditions (see notes for more details), and he grows up as Trucy’s big brother. After Phoenix’s disbarment and Zak’s disappearance, Phoenix adopts both Trucy and Apollo. This is a compilation of scenarios that could’ve happened in that universe.
I have a number of scenes already written down, but may add characters and relationships not tagged above in the future. This collection contains major spoilers for all Ace Attorney games, but especially in regards to Apollo Justice’s backstory, his adopted and biological families, and Phoenix’s seven years of disbarment.
This is my first time publishing any of my drafts, and I am not a writer by trade! I would appreciate any constructive criticism or notes on what you enjoy or (politely) dislike!
