This is not just one story. It’s a whole buffet of PhaiDei based on #PhaiDeitober2025 prompts.
Phainon (+ his variants, maybe) and Mydei get tossed into different worlds, different setups, different kinds of relationships. Whether it’s fluffy romance, spicy banter, painful heartbreak, or a bit of mischief, the fun is seeing how many flavours their dynamic can take.
TL;DR: I'm trying to push myself to write something (hopefully) every day.

(Mydei le pide permiso a Phainon para poder lanzarse a una relación paralela con su hermano, Khaslana. Al asumir que la respuesta de su novio es positiva, las cosas se complican un poco.)

Neither one of them made any move to resist as Phainon began to steer them to the bedroom, his hearty chuckles echoing against the walls of their cosy house.
An alternate version of Mydei, a woman, shows up from a different universe. Phainon needs to fuck both her and his Mydei at the same time. To send her back. Totally just because he needs to send her back.

Phainon is dying - but no one besides Hyacine knows. He is going through Mate-Rejection which he's had since first meeting Mydeimos. Never entertaining even the thought that he was an equal or good match for the Kremnosian. It was even worse when he and Khaslana merge back together - Burdening the Worldbearer with guilt beyond words. Nightmares. Even greater self hatred. He had hoped to die in their last battle, but now he could only distance himself to make his death less of a burden.

He pressed himself back against the wall, as though it might swallow him whole.

Perdikkas comes into view, stepping closer to blink down at Phainon and Mydei on the ground. “You’re all here?”
Ptolemy scoffs, kicking lightly at the dirt. “Guess who has the extraordinary pleasure of being assigned the babysitting duty to the dumbass trio over here?” He rolls his eyes with a sharp sigh. “Not Peucesta, clearly. Lucky bastard.”
“Don’t lump me in with them,” Hephaestion protests. Ridiculous. Everyone knows who instigates the fights just as often as Phainon and Mydei.
“We don’t need babysitting,” Phainon says at the same time, words muffled as Mydei’s hand smashes his head into the ground, resuming their fight now that Ptolemy is distracted. Phainon almost bites down on the dirt by accident.
or; Phainon finds Mydei drifting at the Sea of Souls after Aedes Elysiae is destroyed. Pulling the other kid out of the water might be the best decision of his life
