Danny was adopted by the Fentons as a baby. He knows that, but has no idea who his birth parents are. All he has is a place of birth. Not that it matters.
Well, it didn't use to matter. But now that his parents - that Jack and Maddie - have found out his secret and not taken it well, maybe it's time for him to try and seek his birth parents out and find out why he was given up for adoption and if they'd be willing to help him out. He doesn't really have many other options at this point.
Actually, he has zero other options because Vlad would never be a viable one.
Off to Gotham he goes.

Living in Gotham with Pariah, Dorathea and a few other ghosts while trying to figure out whether the normal life was truly for him.

Danny Fenton is sitting in class trying (and failing) to focus on his algebra homework. His attention keeps drifting toward Dash Baxter, the popular jock who’s usually a jerk to him. Lately, though, Danny’s been feeling weird whenever Dash is around—like there’s something different between them.
Over the past few weeks, Danny’s noticed Dash showing up wherever he goes, like at the arcade or the mall, and his teasing has started to feel more playful than mean. During class, Dash calls Danny out for staring, then walks over to his desk to mess with him. But instead of just being rude, Dash surprises Danny by asking him to hang out after school and see a movie. Danny’s caught off guard but says yes, even though he’s not totally sure what’s going on.
After school, Dash actually shows up to pick Danny up, and they end up having a good time at the theater. The mood between them feels different—more relaxed, almost friendly. By the end of the night, Dash admits that he likes Danny, though he jokes that Danny can’t tell anyone because it might ruin his reputation.
