She has been fighting for most of her life, and wants more than anything to be reunited with her family. When Odette, a woman from Batuu, decides to take a chance and attempts to join the Resistance on a strange request, Leia finds hope blossoming again. This story follows Odette's journey through the Resistance, her relationships with the established members of the base, and their fight to not only bring peace to the galaxy but also bring Ben Solo back to the light.
This is basically a rewrite of Rise of the Skywalker with my own little personal fantasies written in lol. You gotta suspend your disbelief but I mean the force and lightsabers exist so I think you'll be okayyyy

Rey watched a line of orange light speed across the night sky. From a distance she could hear the starship skidding against the sand, its metal screeching as it unnaturally twisted. Scrambling up to the “roof” of her makeshift home she spotted the ship. Under the starry sky she saw the cockpit was separated by about a hundred feet from its body. The body itself was scattered into pieces along the sand.
Traversing the wreck she would find the pilot alive. Helping him out, her and this stranger will forge a bond amongst the wasteland of Jakku. Unknown to Rey though this stranger runs from himself, from the choices he must make. That he is not just Ben, but Ben Solo, son of Leia Organa and Han Solo. The proud prodigy of his famed Uncle, Luke Skywalker.
