Alhaitham pulled away, nipping down his jawline and neck. His hands slid up his shirt until they brushed past his nipples. A soft squeak escaped Kaveh. He had no idea he would be devoured the moment the door closed.
“Haitham… what's gotten into you?” Kaveh panted.
“You’re mine, Kaveh. And I want to show you that.” Alhaitham’s voice was low as he whispered into his ear. “I can't keep my hands off of you anymore. I fought to keep myself in line that entire event. But here, I don't have to. Here, you’re for my eyes only.”

Alhaitham inhaled slowly, allowing Kaveh’s scent to envelop his senses as his body tingled with something unfamiliar - tense and anticipatory. It was as though the vein beneath Kaveh’s soft skin was calling out Alhaitham’s name, beckoning him in with a powerful lull like a siren’s song.
Kaveh didn’t flinch as the tips of Alhaitham's fangs came to rest hesitantly on his throat, and with one final, resolute breath, he gave in. Thumb caressing the other side of Kaveh’s neck as he held him in place, Alhaitham punctured Kaveh’s skin with a gentle bite.

Alhaitham slammed Kaveh’s door open - though he regained a fraction of his senses as Kaveh shot upright and summoned his claymore with a distressed shout, bracing to face an intruder. Panting, Alhaitham leaned against the doorframe and attempted to choke out an apology... but the deep inhale he drew in that should have supported his words instead transformed into a low, primal groan as Kaveh’s natural scent washed over him.
Oblivious with carnal desire, Alhaitham barely even registered Kaveh’s movement as he slowly rose from his bed and stared blankly at Alhaitham - first at the top of his head, then somewhere behind his torso. “Um - hi, Haitham. Are you... okay?”
“Me - I need - smell -” Alhaitham grunted disjointedly.
Frowning, Kaveh gingerly lifted a hand toward the top of Alhaitham’s head - but his palm never reached its destination. Before he could stop himself, Alhaitham had snatched Kaveh’s wrist and pressed it firmly to his nose.
Lost to sudden, overpowering instincts, he inhaled deeply and dragged his tongue absently along Kaveh’s skin as his lips ascended his arm, cradling it with both hands like a precious artefact.

Kaveh develops sudden suppressant rejection. For the first time since he was fifteen, not only is his scent freely released, but he is able to detect others’ pheromones as well.
Nostrils flaring slightly, Alhaitham exhaled in confusion. As the smell gradually intensified, his instincts immediately classified it as omega, mine... though he had never found the scent of anyone else’s pheromones even close to pleasant before.
Vacantly concluding that one of the research labs in the building must be conducting experiments on 'how to make yourself smell like an omega angel', he presumed the scent was synthetic and carried on.
He was just about to turn into the cafeteria to pick up some pita pockets for lunch, smiling to himself as he imagined Kaveh scolding him as he always did when Alhaitham forgot his lunch at home, when he stopped dead in his tracks, every hair on his body standing on end.

He began to explain, pressing his back against the wall again.
"I've honestly been pretty curious to know all the little mechanisms behind it." He tilted his head a little to the side, still grinning.

"Mm.. That's understandable.." The blond mumbled.
"Mind if I ask you some questions about it?" asked the technician with a small smile and a raised eyebrow.
"I... guess that's fair," Kaveh's hand moved to nervously rub behind his neck. "You can ask me anything then."
