“So you think I am unfairly handsome?” Ilya responded instead, very interested in continuing this delicious torture. He preened when he watched a flash of fondness on Shane’s face before Shane seemed to school his expressions, “ Yes I do.” Shane instead said in a way that was a perfect blend of bashfulness and flirtatiousness. “The very moment I laid eyes on you…I wondered who this exceptionally handsome man was…I also thought you looked like trouble.”

“You didn’t like it the last time we tried it,” Shane said.
Ilya gave a one-shouldered shrug. “Was years ago. Maybe it is an acquired taste, like licorice.”
“You also don’t like licorice,” Shane pointed out.
“Yes, but I keep trying it because Luca likes it so much.”
“And then you make a face and tell him how awful it is.”
“When have I ever told you your dick is awful?” Ilya said, looking mildly offended. “I am its number one fan.”

Summary
Scott frowns thoughtfully, the gears in his brain obviously working out how to fix this problem. He was never content to just let problems sit, even if it was just Kip’s attention span after hours of reading. Kip found himself falling for that side of Scott over and over and over again. “I could read it out loud to you. You like audiobooks, right? This’ll be the same thing.”
“It’s really boring,” Kip says. It’s almost an apology.
“Well, I’ll have to make it interesting,” Scott says, and suddenly he’s moving Kip around on the couch so he can walk back to the desk and pick up the book. His eyebrows raise in surprise. “You think this is boring?”
