Full summary:
Anakin has been avoiding Obi-Wan ever since he faked his death on the Hardeen mission. It turns out, however, that avoiding Obi-Wan has been a bit too easy: Anakin's old master has gone missing on a mission far away. Traveling to the very distant planet of Pagora, Anakin intends to rescue Obi-Wan. But the journey is long, and when he gets there, he finds that Pagora has a thing or two in common with Zygerria and Tattooine.Meanwhile, Obi-Wan is struggling as he finds himself once again captured on a slave-planet. However, unlike on Kadavo, help is not around the corner. The Jedi temple is weeks away, if they can even afford to send help this far out... Can Obi-Wan escape before the cruel slave facility on Pagora breaks his will? Will he complete his mission to find a secret Pagoran Force weapon?
Will Anakin find him in time, and can this adventure mend their fraying bond?

Everything hurts. Obi-Wan is dead and fuck, does Anakin hurt. He's digging his nails into knees as hard as he can and he thinks he can feel the skin splitting but it's not enough to distract him, his whole body is still filled with anguish. Obi-Wan is dead and everything hurts.
His comm stopped buzzing a while ago. It could've been 30 minutes or it could've been 3 hours. He doesn't even know how long he's been sitting in this chair but it doesn't matter because Obi-Wan is dead and everything hurts.
He stopped counting how many times his cup was refilled after the first 4 and the burn of whiskey is still on his tongue but it's not enough, it could never be enough. Nothing will ever be enough, because Obi-Wan is dead, and fuck, everything still hurts.
Or, the aftermath of the Rako Hardeen mission and the effects it has on Anakin and Ahsoka. I kept it short and simple but it shows a little of the early effects grief can have. I might expand on it someday, maybe add some of what happens when it's revealed that Obi-Wan is alive and the betrayal they feel. If anyone likes this is I probably will, but it can be read as a standalone.

Summary
Anakin hasn't slept in three days.
He's tried to, of course, albeit half-heartedly. Exhaustion weighs heavily on him, and he knows he needs to get himself in order soon. The Council is likely only going to give him and Ahsoka another week of rest at the temple before they ship out again, and if he stays like he is now, he'll be dead within a few seconds of a space battle.
Obi-Wan would probably tell him to meditate on why he was avoiding sleep. Or give him some herbal tea blend that tasted like grass to help him get drowsy.
Usually, it would probably have helped. Not the meditation, of course, or the tea. But Obi-Wan's presence usually soothed him like nothing else could. Knowing someone was looking out for him, cared about him, wanted him to be safe and happy, that's what usually helped.
But that was all Before. Before Obi-Wan faked his death. Before he lied to Anakin, used his grief to make it believable.

Summary
Padmé left. Ahsoka was betrayed. Obi-Wan let him fall.
Anakin Skywalker is done with the Jedi. Done with the Code. Done with pretending he wants to live.
Now the Republic’s most terrifying general, he takes suicidal missions, shouts at the battlefield to kill him harder, and dares the Force to make up its mind. The clones follow him out of loyalty. Kix keeps a medical kit and a defibrillator on hand. And the public? They call him a hero.
Then Mandalore calls for help. Maul has returned. Satine begs the Senate for aid. And Anakin—no longer a Jedi, no longer sane—is sent to answer.
Bo-Katan expects a martyr. What she finds is a whirlwind of destruction and grief in a general’s body. Together, they kill Maul. Anakin hands Satine the Darksaber and tells her peace was never enough.
Mandalore survives. The war ends early. Palpatine doesn’t live long enough to crown himself Emperor.

Obi-wan is captured by Rako Hardeen and Cad Bane, but when it's revealed that only one is getting paid and most likely isn't going to be Cad Bane he decided that no one gets the money. Helping aid Obi-wan's escape as well as his own.

Padme watched as he took off again down the long hallway, his boots clicking against the marble floor. She shook her head in dismay as he cleared the final shield with time to spare. But she was surprised when his reaction to accomplishing his goal was so subdue, he had his back to her and was staring at the pit in the middle of the room.
“He failed,” Anakin said.
Padme could barely hear him over the cycling laser walls. “What are you talking about?”
“He could’ve made it had he really tried.” Anakin continued. “He just let him die.”
“Ani, you know that’s not true.” Padme quickly said.
Anakin turned around and began the slow journey back towards her.
“Fine, maybe he did really try, all that means he was a failure.” Anakin conceded. “But I would’ve saved him.”

The elder Jedi opened his dilated eyes, blacken with arousal, and hoarsely answered his former charge, "Yes, I most certainly want this Anakin."
"Then come over here Master and let's kriff," said Anakin with a sideways grin as his former master tumbled into the bed unceremoniously, ravishing the younger man in earnest.
OR, Anakin de-ages with a heartfelt wish from a shooting star to reconnect to his master and he has to grow up once more under the tutelage of his former master, Obi-wan Kenobi, who he has a strained relationship due to the Rako Hardeen mission.

“Skywalker has requested he and the 501st be permanently reassigned separately to the 212th. Talk to him, get him to change his mind. For the sake of this war. Please.” Mace tells him.
Shock crashes through Obi-Wan’s chest like a wave. Anakin had done what?
“I’ll talk to him.” Obi-Wan manages to keep his voice sounding unaffected.
Mace gives him a short nod and heads on his way. Obi-Wan watches after him. He knows why Anakin’s done this. He’s emotionally reeling from the mission Obi-Wan has just completed as the bounty hunter Rako Hardeen.
