Summary
Because there were holes in the wall in the shape of a smile, a hole in John's chest in the shape of his heart, a hole in the world in the shape of a detective, and a hole in the ground in the shape of a coffin. And Sherlock would only be filling one of those holes from now on. The wrong one, John thought dully. It was the wrong one.
Or: a series of short moments I wrote down whenever the inspiration struck about how John might've felt and reacted to Sherlock's death.

Summary
He had left Baker Street after two months since the Fall, as he put it. It was too painful to live here. Alone. The flat carried too many memories, too many recollections.
I shouldn’t have come here, thought John.

Summary
So he decided to leave. He packed his room bare, and left in the late hours of the night. He didn’t have too many things, but John had left the majority of it all there. He didn’t want to disturb anything, and so he had left it all the way it was. In case, by some wishful thinking, he’d return home.

Summary
My version of what should have happened when Sherlock came back.
Sherlock fell off a building and John fell into depression. This work will explore the pain of losing someone and the pain of getting him back.
Warnings: There will be angst, there will be emotional hurt, and there are many references to death, suicide/suicide ideation, self-harm, therapy, psychotropic medications, and explicit content. But this will have a happy Johnlock ending, the one we deserved but never got in the show.
(Did the world need another season 3 fix-it? Maybe, maybe not. If you don't want to read another fix-it then please move on <3 xx)

Summary
“What’s wrong de-….” She froze.
Sherlock was crying.
Sherlock, always trying to barricade away his emotions-
Sherlock, "I don’t feel things like that"- bollocks, Holmes-
Was crying.
And his hands- oh his hands; they were trembling something terrible, and were slick with blood.
Mrs. Hudson’s wouldn't be ashamed to admit that she had to lean unsteadily against the door frame for a moment at the sight, but quickly oriented herself. Her first ( and most frightening ) thought was that there had been an attack. “Oh, Sherlock, are you o-?“
“Help… please?” He didn't let her finish. It was probably for the best. She knew the answer, and knew just as well that Sherlock wouldn't say it. His voice was still small and weak - impossibly fragile; a part of her broke at the sound. it was … uncomfortable to see Sherlock like that.
OR!!!!
Sherlock needs help. There’s only one more person on the planet he is willing to turn to.
He really Hopes Mrs. Hudson is awake.

“Holmes was back now, and I could not be happier, but I had still wondered. After his years alone, perhaps he would not wish the company of others. Perhaps he had grown accustomed to being on his own, without needing to slow down to wait for anyone.”
