Summary
After a moment, it seemed like Luffy suddenly understood something, and his expression changed to a mix of knowing and curiosity. "Usopp, what are you not telling us?"
Usopp shifted his gaze from the ship to Luffy. "What do you mean?"
"You're hiding something from us."
"There's nothing to tell." Luffy, please drop it, Usopp thought. This isn't like you.
But Luffy approached Usopp slowly, with his determined gaze that always meant he was ready to defend his Nakama, even if the threat was coming from within.
Whether it was on the battlefield or the deck of the Thousand Sunny, Luffy was not one to easily let go of something, especially when a friend's well-being was at risk.
On the other hand, Merry reappearing in Usopp's life once again complicated things for him.

Summary
Chopper had been trying to deal with those disturbing thoughts — about the sniper leaving the crew for good and never returning — for a long time now. He had been trying to repress them, to stop them from flooding his weary mind; but they had taken over every time. Usopp was back now and yet the thoughts hadn't stopped. The reindeer could still feel inside him that same poisonous rage he had felt after the quarrel, inexorably consuming him, infecting every one of his feelings.
or
As soon as the marines' fleet and that despicable island had disappeared beyond the horizon, Sanji had dragged Chopper and Usopp to the infirmary of the Thousand Sunny and left them there. Usopp had then let the reindeer take care of his injuries. Before, those moments spent in the small infirmary of the Merry had always been full of talk, stories and laughs. Now, there was only silence to fill the gigantic void.

Kalifa doesn't think there’s anything particularly remarkable about the town of Anciùa; not the men by the docks shouting about fresh fish nor the kids munching on watermelon while trying to hide from the scrutinizing eyes of their parents. And yet, there’s something terribly fascinating about it all.

Naturally, Usopp leaving the Straw Hats was going to have an impact on his relationship with Zoro. Naturally, despite Usopp's swift return to normalcy once he came back, they were going to have to talk about it. Naturally, this was terrifying.

Summary
Usopp has made his first steps to feeling like he belongs with the Straw Hats again after leaving them in the events of Water 7.
After being taken care by Chopper and Sanji to regain both strength and confidence (in my first story, "How to Belong Again"), he works to reconcile with each of his other crewmates from the East Blue - Nami, Zoro and Luffy.
...
Watching Usopp, a goofy grin plastered itself on Franky's face. This is what the workshop was meant to look like. Franky bounded back to the entrance, but Usopp shouted at him.
"Hey! You didn't tell me anything about the others!"
Franky's hand rested in the middle of the door, holding it ajar. He looked over his shoulder, smile still ever present.
"I know," he said. "Figured you'd listen closer if I said it was about them."
Then, Franky left, and Usopp sat with a screwdriver and Climatact.
This would be a good apology, right?

Summary
Usopp is a Straw Hat again after the events at Enies Lobby, but he’s still battling with his sense of belonging. Sanji takes it upon himself to make sure the sniper is well-rested, taken care of, and fed.
“Do you believe you belong here?” Sanji rephrased the statement as a question.
Usopp hated a yes-or-no question. They were impervious against the endless reservoir of elaborated lies he prepared throughout his youth.
“Well, that’s a loaded quest–”

Summary
Sanji doesn’t like Zoro, doesn’t think he’s hot, isn't attracted to him at all, and he’s not afraid to tell him that.
Right. Sure. It’s a bit hard for Zoro to actually believe him when he’s always saying so right before begging for sex, and even more so when it’s getting harder and harder for Sanji to hide the very Sanji specific signs of something a bit more going on in that twirly pervert brain of his than just ambiguous sexual tension between rivals. -

Summary
Luffy blinks at him before bursting into a fit of giggles, his laugh tinkling like water dripping into a cave pond. "That was easy," he says lightly. "I didn't even have to sing."
It's Zoro's turn to blink. "What?" he mutters, confused.
(Zoro will always dive after his captain, especially when there are things lurking beneath the surface.)

Summary
“I should’ve seen it,” Paulie said finally, his voice low and raw. “Five years, Ice. Five years he stood right next to us, and I didn’t see a damn thing.”
Iceburg was quiet for a moment, the kind of silence that felt less like judgment and more like understanding. “None of us did,” he said softly. His voice was hoarse, barely above a whisper, but it carried.
Paulie shook his head, his hands clenching into fists. “But I— God, I let him in, Ice. I trusted him. I... I liked him. Hell, maybe I even—” His voice broke, and he bit down hard on the words, on the truth clawing its way out of his throat.
Iceburg looked at him then, his gaze calm and unyielding. “Maybe you did.”
Paulie let out a bitter laugh, sharp and jagged. “Great. Glad we’re on the same page. Guess that just makes me the biggest idiot in the room.”
Paulie, Lucci, and the aftermath of Water 7.

For most of his life, Paulie's daily schedule remained unchanging. Go to work, avoid debt collectors, build ships, and gamble far too much of his savings. From there on, the two continuously find themselves meeting, and it's no longer just their schedules that begin to shift. Feelings develop, friendships form, and the employees of Babbling Books and Galley-La establish a betting ring on when the two idiots will finally see the truth within each other.
