If an artificial intelligence was made to fold boxes and suddenly it ran out of boxes to fold, unless being prompted by something in more control of it, it would try its very best to do whatever it would take to get more boxes to fold, and until then, the bot knows something is wrong. Anything preventing its purpose is wrong. Shutting down is wrong. Death, to an artificial intelligence, is wrong.
