Summary
It had started almost like a game, an exercise in espionage, perhaps. One must practice to keep their skills sharp after all, at least that’s what he said when he found himself watching one Dr. Julian Bashir from across the crowded restaurant.

Summary
Reluctant to detail the full extent of the torture he endured on the mirror universe’s Terok Nor after the events of Crossover, Doctor Julian Bashir discharges himself from the infirmary against the medical advice of his staff. He finds himself on Garak’s doorstep. This might have been fine, if only Garak did not wear the face of the man who had tortured him for a week.
As Julian struggles to heal and Garak endeavors to help, the two must reckon with the ramifications of Garak’s mirrorverse counterpart’s abhorrent actions on their own relationship.
Meanwhile, Sisko contemplates seven years of bad luck, Dax and O’Brien accidentally build a bomb, Kira punches a security officer, and Odo imitates a goose.

Summary
Events happen, people change, life goes on.
Julian Bashir’s casual desires to settle down and have a family of his own became true too soon, and he doesn’t know how to handle it all during a particularly fragile time in the post Dominion-war alpha quadrant. Elim Garak, the man he finally accepted he was in love with, would be the man to eventually come to the rescue and help put his concerns at ease.
This includes mpreg throughout the entire story and will have a birth scene, with Julian being a trans man who chose to not opt for bottom surgery or a hysterectomy. Please don’t read if this is not something you like to read about. Any triggers will be mentioned in the beginning notes of each chapter. Minor edits throughout the story occur occasionally.

Doctor Garak enjoys his routines: kanar, Kotra, a Vulcan opponent who never lets him win—until one evening, a simple question unravels everything.
What's wrong with the ship's EMH?
Julian Bashir is flickering, glitching, slipping through his fingers.
And Garak is left facing what he’s always feared most: loving someone he may not be able to save.

Summary
Julian thought he really should have seen it coming and been better prepared to deal with the inevitable question that arose.
“… Might I ask, Doctor, what exactly is it about that… fuzzy thing over there that you seem to find so… arousing…?” Garak had enquired, his lip curled in mild distaste. Julian had tensed immediately, a well of nausea rippling through him.
Or: Julian has a really weird coping mechanism left over from repeated sexual trauma and he has no idea how to explain that to Garak, because he’s tried not to think about it for the last two decades himself.

Summary
After decades of political and economic pressures fail to inspire a Cardassian withdrawal from its occupation of Bajor, the Federation decides to intervene, neutrality be damned.
A joint Starfleet-Bajorian task force led by Commander Benjamin Sisko takes the strategically located Terok-Nor space station. They must maintain control, no matter the cost, long enough for the rest of the ships Starfleet promised to the Bajoran Resistance to reach them. Unfortunately, Bajor is on the fringes of known space, and Starfleet’s forces are stretched thin as it is. Reinforcements could take weeks—months—to arrive.
Against a backdrop of phaser fire and rapidly worsening odds, Doctor Julian Bashir finds himself caught in a vicious battle of wits with an Obsidian Order operative called the Tailor. A strange mutual respect soon grows between them. A strange…affection.
However, when a botched mission results in Julian’s capture, they must both decide how far they’re willing to go (and how much they’re willing to sacrifice) to win.
Will you walk into my parlor? said the spider to the fly.

Summary
“Which one of you is Dr. Bashir?”
Still leaning casually by the console, Bashir tilts his head with a smirk. “Skinny brunette in the corner.”
Girani rolls her eyes but walks towards him when the strange man shakes his head. “No, you’re Dr. Girani.”
“You don’t think I’m skinny?” Bashir asks with a warm, amused smile, turning more fully toward the patient. “I am terribly sorry; I’m just about to take lunch. But if you are willing to wai–”
Faster than even Garak can predict, the man pulls out a weapon Garak has never seen before, aims it directly at Bashir, and shoots him point blank.
Or: Julian gets injured and Garak will do anything to make sure he can get better

“Come back to me, my dear, please.”
My dear.
The words felt warm as they kept whirling around in his mind.
My dear.
He held on to them with all he could as the oblivion of darkness closed in on him.
My dear.
Someone had called him that. Who was it?

Summary
“… Doctor Bashir,” Odo spoke carefully. “I am aware this is a sensitive matter. I know that you and Sloan have been involved for almost two years now. I know that this cannot be easy for you, but…”
Julian sat quietly, still refusing to give anything away.
Luther Sloan is sent to DS9 sometime in early Season One for the purposes of surveillance and keeping an eye on potential security risks. He quickly becomes close to a wide-eyed and hopeful Julian Bashir. It gets worse, and worse, and worse.
Told through the eyes of various friends aboard the station, they watch as Julian slowly deteriorates in front of them, struggling to find a way they can help.

Summary
He’s not sure what’s different about tonight. Not sure why he can no longer bear the weight of the sentiment in his chest, cruel and deadly. He thinks of how he swore never to let this happen again, though in this moment, so close to the doctor, he can’t quite seem to remember why.
The way the good doctor’s face lights up, the ear splitting grin and the warm grip on Garak’s shoulder as he says, “I was hoping you’d say that,” is a sight that Garak longs to catalog and keep for all time.

Summary
Garak’s eyes sparkle, and he wags a finger. “Now, now, my dear, I’ve told you. Perhaps your memory is not fully intact, for I stayed by your side the entire time, with a few exceptions here and there.”
Julian smiles. “Sweet sentiment, but Jadzia told me otherwise. Told me you left on a ship no one could find, not even Odo. Do you have anything you’d like to tell me, Garak?”
