Hank isn't getting any younger, and Connor wants to help. Markus used to be a healthcare assistant, and Connor asks for his help.
He may or may not get way more than he bargined for.

Amanda flicks her hand and he stops, mouth clicking shut. Her eyes are scornful. “You will return to CyberLife.”
Connor’s heart drops. She’s right to be sending him. He’s malfunctioning in some way. There’s something wrong with him. Still, he can’t help asking her, “For what purpose?”
Maybe he has it wrong. Maybe-
Her eyes flick over him like a man judging the worth of a disobedient dog and her lips curl like she’s bitten into a rotten lemon. “For deactivation and disassembly, of course."
Based on the idea of Connor going deviant sooner and joining Jericho as part of the squad.

Summary
Hank Anderson pulls Connor away from the confusing, emotional few days he has spent with Markus to find Deviants that had harmed their human 'masters' after a past full of abuse. Markus forces himself into the investigations with Connor and Hank. Getting civil rights is a long process. All Markus can do is recruit more androids and wait. Maybe a peaceful demonstration or two. As time passes Connor and Markus become closer and closer as they worked side by side. The deviants slowly look up to Connor as they do Markus. Connor hadn't anticipated these 'more-than' friends feelings for Markus but he didn't mind them.

Summary
In the aftermath of Markus' peaceful revolution, CyberLife does not want to concede everything to the androids. Connor is willing to be the price they pay for his people's freedom. Hank thinks this is a stupid idea, and Markus agrees with him (though he uses nicer words). Connor, however, has recently realized he has a mind of his own, and he's determined to use it to protect the people he loves.
Hank was right.
He always is.

Summary
Detroit is in a state of some-what anarchy after the Android revolution, which leaves Markus with a shit ton of work, and Connor bunking in with Hank. But, after Markus bites off more than he can chew, things start to go downhill in his mind, and with his girlfriend. And by "start to go downhill", I mean a full 90-degree drop downhill and Markus's mental integrity goes to shit in less than a week.
Luckily, things seem to be working out well with the politics part of things, and with Cyberlife having gone radio silent and many supplies left abandoned outside the facility for android consumption, people start to have hope.
But, like always, politics aren't what they seem, and when Connor and Hank discover something that could turn the tides of the revolution, they may just be in over their heads.
They only hope they figure it out before everyone is out of time. -

Connor is a free android now, and Markus is still trying to change the world. Finding time for their growing relationship is hard. It's made even harder by the entire truckload of trauma Connor is carrying with him from his time spent at CyberLife. Markus doesn't care. He loves Connor as he is, and is willing to take as much time as they need to help him heal.

The time, 5:32AM, briefly flashed in Markus' mind, as well as the weight of something, or someone, who was occupying his bed.

"North, calm down." Markus's voice is gentle but firm and unyielding. It's an order cleverly disguised as a suggestion, but an order nevertheless. "He's one of us now. His past doesn't define him, just as your past doesn't define you."
Connor, despite not knowing much about the past of the WR400, sees that the statement causes her to pause. She falters, and he believes that she's finished. But no. Her expression twists into something cruel and her next words drip venom. "He's not one of us. His eyes are dead. Like a machine." North stalks up to him, pupils glittering as she gets right in his face. "What are you really?"
The brunette stares at her. Tilts his head to the side. Shows off his LED, how the light emitting from it is an honest blue. "I am deviant."

Or: Connor is recruited by Josh to be Markus's personal bodyguard. He gets the task of keeping him alive, figuring out if other deviants are somehow still being controlled by Cyberlife, and discovering what feelings are. It's fun! Kind of.

He can handle being tossed in the trash and left for dead. He can replace an arm or even a thirium pump, but Connor? Irreplaceable.
