2039: Detroit, USA.
Emma "Vade" Pence is a Public Relations Chief that's been hired to work at the DPD. Society begins (and continues) its transition into more appropriate living and working conditions, catering to android rights. Keeping things cool, collected, and maintained, while the city hurdles toward new challenges, accommodations, and opportunities, is Vade's job. Getting paid to maintain the media for the DPD-- where the disputes and disruptions are handled first-hand across Detroit. But with a sudden influx in crime, the precinct becomes a ground for havoc, with officers trying to figure out what's causing such an uprise in criminal activity in the midst of social corrections.
Juggling media and work relations and while struggling to grasp personal (and oblivious) affections: Vade must decide what route to take when the core of these new problems turns the city onto its head. Silently wondering if Detroit will ever catch a break.

As a Cyberlife analyst specialized in behavioral assessments for androids, you've been tasked by the FBI to work closely with former deviant hunter Connor at the DPD—your job is to oversee his conduct so he doesn't further jeopardize the corporation’s credibility.
But when Connor's newfound deviancy forces him to confront the inevitable feelings and urges that come with it, there's no more room for professionalism between you. Add to that you're not exactly immune to his charm and before you know it, he ends up in your bed.

Both customer and stored androids are being destroyed and drained of thirium, and gallons of blue blood have been going missing from CyberLife, putting the company in a tough spot when trying to pay for both the missing technology and the hush money for customers and employees who won't keep their mouths shut.What's worse?
Androids have started to go rogue. Deviating from their code, running away, and having violent outbursts that make it difficult to crack down on the errors and keep their customers' trust.They leave these problems to a specialized prototype android who's been in development since the new drug was known, and an R&D director who also works for Central Detroit Police Department.

Connor heard about a biker bar and, being a bicyclist himself, decided to check out. He misunderstood what the words “biker bar” meant and was surrounded by a bunch of men in leather. He discovered that one in particular though was very appealing. A week later, however, he is surprised by a familiar face at a crime scene and well, the rest is history as they say.
