Poor Desmond likely knows what the holidays are purely from a factual standpoint but never celebrated them cause He Who Will Not Be Named thought they were wastes of time and just another day. The Templars don't stop for the Holidays why should you type thing. So Desmond, among time displaced Vikings, has no idea how to celebrate the Yule that is coming up in December. there winds up being an eerie silence like Hel just walked through the villages. By the end of it, I don't know if Kjotve will go murder William, which would paint a target on his back since Order of the Ancients and all.
