Against all odds, he’s taken in by three muggle artists who live loudly and love fiercely. Through them, Regulus discovers the strange, wild magic of acting. And he’s good at it. Too good.

This was largely inspired by WizardGod's 'dirty old town.' However, I did have a similar concept prior to reading her work and would more accurately say it motivated me to finally write this. Her fic is brilliant and I highly recommend it if you haven't already read it!
NOTE: This is an ongoing work, but I haven't updated in a while. I HAVE NOT ABANDONED IT. I'm working on the next chapter! (24/09/2025)

In the end, Regulus drops the bomb that he prefers Barty anyway, leaving Barty stunned and victorious.

Regulus Black hated everything about himself. He hated his body, he hated his voice, he hated how hard it was to show how he felt, he hated "The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black", and most of all he hated his brother.
The only thing Regulus did not hate, was his friends. They were the only people around when everything got too tough. They were each other's shoulders to lean on when the pressure from their families became too much to bare, or when they weren't able to leave the common room without being called murderers in the making.
Honestly, it came as no surprise when they all decided to leave together. Well except for the rest of the wizarding society.

Four years later, in the aftermath of Regulus’ actions, the Dark Lord has been defeated. Everyone has moved on. Regulus seeks a fresh start in the muggle world in an attempt to put his past behind him. Something, or rather someone, has made it impossible for him to move on. Someone who doesn’t even remember him.
Sirius knows how his little brother will drown in his own misery before ever doing anything about it. He convinces Regulus to pursue James and make him fall in love with him again.
