Summary
While the Crown might be forever out of his reach, disgraced knight Roland can still salvage his position. All he has to do is get one creature from the neighboring kingdom established in Fairy Kingdom. Which would be easier if everyone in both kingdoms were not so eager to see him fail.
Twig might be the meekest creature in the Dark Forest, but the timid sprite balks at being overlooked by the laughingstock of two realms. Against her better judgement, she agrees to let the untrustworthy fairy introduce her to Society.
With the Midsummer Ball fast approaching, the only way for Roland to teach Twig everything she needs to know is to be together from dawn to dusk, and hope that her debut is successful so they never have to see each other again.
