Summary
The once flourishing central city of Ninjago was overturned by what appeared to be obstreperous parasitic looking citizens, what was once a city full of glamour and fateful dreams was now a dreary wasteland. The cases of the "infected" as they were classed as, seemed to rise every frightful hour, their appearance morphing into something both animalistic and entirely monstrous. Though, the real problem was their overly aggressive tendencies, attacking humans for no other reason other than to feast upon their flesh and multiply, or, at least that's all the journalists managed to make of it before their inevitable demise.

Lloyd had his hand pressed against his mouth harshly as he laid on the cool, decrepit wooden flooring of the dorms, residing under the bed despite how cramped it was, his breaths laboured yet quiet, perspiration coating his body, lips wobbling and eyebrows creased in worry, staring bug eyed at what was once his classmate but now a mangled, desecrated looking corpse, or at least that's what he'd page it as.
He didn't know how he was surviving this one.

Summary
After Morro nearly kills Kai following the whole Cloud Kingdom fiasco, Lloyd makes a plan to stop the ghost from hurting his family. As a result, things in the tomb of the First Master go differently. For one, Lloyd gets stuck with an enemy possessing him for quite longer. And Morro may just have to confront his past and present while being a prisoner of ninja.

(A Kai antihero/villain fic in which he stuck to his original convictions and didn’t ever truly become a ninja. Morro comes along and finds an explosive amount of potential in what he believes is a kindred and powerful spirit. Chaos ensues. A lot of mess and explored dynamics, along with a healthy dose of nuancing current character point I either felt were under-discussed or thought would be fun additions. Hope you enjoy!)

By pure chance, and absolute hot-headed and stubbornness, Kai ends up going to the museum instead of Lloyd. Cue the chaos.
Now all Morro wants to do is see the similarities. Kai wants to see the differences again... and the ability to mind his own business.
Or I've been starved for fics between Morro and Kai possessed au's and decided to make my own version of events. In research, I found a couple of Pinterest art ideas and a few Tumblr prompts.
Also, I wrote the first six chapters last year, but I just never finished the story then, and found and edited them this week. I decided I might as well post them. Who knows, maybe I will find the motivation to actually finish it?

Nya, only wants to invent new things to keep her busy from remembering the battle with the Time Twins. Zane sometimes struggles with Pixal's disappearance. Cole immerses himself in intense workouts. Jay continues to laugh and make jokes, but the Ninja notice that his heart isn't fully in it. Kai becomes more hot-tempered, especially with what's about to happen in Ninjago...
Randomly, reports of Ninja disrupting the peace have sky-rocketed. Confused, the Ninja learn about the Evil Ninja! They have abruptly started terrorizing Ninjago. They have the exact appearances, weapons, fighting styles, and elements. However, the Evil Ninjas have corrupted personalities compared to their good counterparts.The Ninja have no time to ask questions. Evil never sleeps and so shouldn't you! The Evil Ninja shenanigans keep them busy from discovering the hidden truth.
Only a few weeks after being introduced to them, the Evil Ninja sneak on board to capture a Ninja. Their plans get foiled, but the Capture continues...

This fic was HEAVILY inspired by @TheYugiTwins and their fic The Student Becomes The Master. Read it, I loved it! That whole Merlopia thing with Kalmaar is not canon, but the author executed it so good. I had to put it in. But there is a twist in mine. Also, English isn't my first language, so I'm sorry about the spelling.
