Summary

Among the Native Dragons, there is only one whose tales are not often told, neither out of fear nor out of reverence, but because none wish to hear them. There are no tales worth hearing about a god whose only actions have been of failure, Amarukas, the Divine Love. This is his tale.
It is also the tale of an amnesiac crystal-merchant-magician-god, who finds himself utterly captivated by the pumpkin-headed mortal he meets upon a road one morning.
