Summary
The world of Etheria has always been full of secrets. Some, darker than others. But most importantly, there has been a very delicate balance keeping the world from falling into a bloody war for the past few centuries. The people privy to such secrets usually learnt very quickly why they had to keep their mouths shut. And so, for decades, Etheria had been in relative peace…
However, rumours began circulating five years ago. People spoke about vampires and hunters; the names “Horde” and “Alliance” started floating around, and now, Bright Moon's Police Chief has finally found out the truth. The rumors are true, and the hunters can no longer be allowed to execute vampires at will; they must be stopped and tried for their crimes.
With her aid, a young vampire working for the Court and a former vampire vampire-hunter will do everything in their power to bring justice and security to Etheria's people.

“Securing Etheria’s status in the universe. Glimmy wants to appeal to The Council of The Known Universe and have Etheria recognised as a developed-enough world to join The Council. Ever since Etheria had been freed from Despandos it has been at the mercy of the rest of the universe. As a magical mediaeval world, Etheria’s has been seen by the rest of the universe as ‘underdeveloped’ and ‘primitive’ and as ‘defenceless’. Becoming a part of The Council will grant us safety. Their technology advancements. Limitless food and medicine - access to planets they’ve constructed dedicated solely to agriculture and harvesting. Respect among other worlds. The Council of The Known Universe, turns out, was established to create a barricade against tyrant empires like Prime and The Galactic Horde. Etheria needs protection like that, but there's a problem.”

In the Northern Reach, monsters infected by Entrapta’s disk emerge from the quarry and destroy the Horde base. Catra is separated from the rest and subsequently finds herself stranded in a blizzard with a drunk Adora in her care.

Summary
Shadow Weaver isn't the only thing Adora sees in the Shadows after she leaves the Fright Zone. Every where she looks she sees Catra, she would think she was going crazy if Catra didn't actually make an appearance so often. The more time goes on and Adora gets comfortable in Bright Moon, the easier it is to shake off the panic that sets in when a tree or bush looks a little too Catra-shaped. Adora never stops looking for her though. However, the lines are blurred as to what is truly a threat and what is just her imagination so often that eventually, some things slip through the cracks.
Or, five times Adora imagines Catra is there and one time Catra was actually there.

Catra raises an eyebrow. “Happened to be around?” she repeats dryly. “Thanks.”
Glimmer tosses a piece of candy at her head. “Whatever. Would you prefer happens to be stuck in the same time loop as me and spent the last — how long has it been? two weeks? — two weeks repeatedly getting murdered by First Ones security systems so I thought maybe she could find out about chocolate?”
Bow and Adora are now openly gaping. Catra makes an eh noise. “I mean, it’d be comprehensive, at least.”

Captain Catra… the name meant a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
To First Mate Scorpia, Catra was her best friend who had escaped from the Fright Zone with her, giving her a new life and a much greater purpose than anything the horrid witch and ex-lord of the Horde had promised.
For Pilot Entrapta, Catra was a shield against a world that had never really understood her nor tolerated her. She was also the only person to ever successfully steal some of the most advanced technology in all Etheria, a Horde ship, and she was content to let Entrapta play with all of it.
For the princesses and their kingdoms, the feline was a dangerous bandit and a terrible nuisance.
However, for Adora, Princess of Brightmoon, the name of Captain Catra bore no importance at all...

Summary
It's after the Fall of Prime. The parties have stopped (mostly), Catra and Adora are in love, and things are going smoothly. Mostly smoothly. Mostly. There's the matter of what happens now. There's a whole bunch of clones hanging around, there's the matter of Hordak's Horde soldiers, not to mention Hordak himself, and there's a population of Etheria who want to do something about all of this. Then of course there's Catra or as she's known to the rest of Etheria, Force Captain Catra, commander of the Horde legions, invader of Salineas, and Adora's girlfriend. Catra is fully aware of that dichotomy and is wondering just what that is going to mean to her future. Not to mention she thinks maybe she shouldn't get off scott free for what she's done. So does that mean she suffers more, like she still thinks she just might deserve, or does that mean that forgiveness and grace is the better way to go?
