Derek’s breath hitched. “No. No, that’s not—”
“Afraid so, big guy.” The demon wiggled his fingers, and Derek felt a cold shiver roll down his spine, like something inside him shifted. “See, instead of a simple ‘poof, you’re dead’ deal, you actually tethered your soul to mine. Which means if you die, I die. And frankly, I am way too pretty for that nonsense.”

Stiles is the demon Derek summoned, hoping that the demon would kill him and allow him to escape from hell. However, instead of casting a death wish, Derek accidentally bonded their souls, leaving Derek trapped with a demon for eternity. The Hale family is far from pleased.

Now, they're here to play one last game. Stiles is chained to a table with their abductor and the game is Russian Roulette. Will Stiles make it out alive and save Derek? Or has this ordeal unlocked a long forgotten part of him that can guarantee their escape? Is Stiles willing to release the Nogitsune if it means Derek's safety? Will Derek come to the rescue instead?

A rogue Alpha found him at school and bit him. Derek only knew that because he felt his wolf fucking break into a mad howl, and he ran- He only stopped once he was at the Nemeton, where Stiles had been taken.
The Alpha had bitten Stiles and claimed him, Derek could still see the large naked wolfman pressing down his boyfriend... Anger consumed his mind and he attacked while the Alpha was still knotted to him, sinking his claws into the rogue Alpha's skull, killing him.
