Set during Endwalker, pre-Tower of Babil, spoilers through Garlemald. Sadu/Cirina established relationship.
Eorzeans were not Steppe people. They had not the sense. They followed different customs, strutting about as if they followed a standard of nobility above all others, innocent of the same acts they accused their enemies of. But Sadu watched regardless, holding her tongue as she observed their speeches, and marked well the grain of the khagan's allies.
So it was Broken Glass now, in the Eorzean way, and Sadu kept her thoughts to herself.

In the wake of the Oronir's humiliating defeat in the Naadam, the men of iron invade the Steppe; Magnai locks eyes with their commander and finds his Nhaama. This was... unexpected.
Grynewaht has never heard the word "Nhaama" in his life, but he knows what he feels, and suddenly killing the Warrior of Light and returning to Doma doesn't seem very important.
Daidukul is displeased with this development, for more reasons than one...
Or: the one where the two dumbest guys in Stormblood fall in love, a third guy gets feelings about that, and somehow this isn't a comedy. Written for #XIVRarepairWeek2025, and now complete at ToC + seven chapters. Chapter 6 (Day 5) is explicit; all others are rated T. Warning for 4.0 spoilers on all but Chapter 8 (Day 7), which is a timeskip to 6.0 with the associated spoilers.

The Winds of Valnain, in need of aether to supply the anti-Garlean barrier in the Burn for the Domans, travel to the Steppe with Hien and Y'shtola, to utilize a shard of Dalamud that rested in the House of the Crooked Coin. Before they can use it, they need to obtain the permission of the other tribes, namely that of the Dotharl.
Of course, everything has a price, and none of them could have predicted what Sadu's would be.
