Michelle makes a choice that tears her and Tony apart, leading her to believe that he was killed at CTU, and him to believe that she died from the car bomb. Over the next six years, while she grows closer to Renee Walker, one of the agents sworn to protect her as she continues to hunt down the people in and out of the government after her, Tony finds comfort in the arms of David Emerson and grapples with working on the wrong side of the law.
But when Michelle's present and past eventually collide, she, Tony, and Renee will all have to make choices as they navigate the consequences. It'll be up to you to decide how it all goes down.

Summary
Homeland s2 AU. Earlier in the season, Brody and Jessica decide to split up for everyone's sake. Brody goes to live with Carrie, Mike moves in with Jessica and the kids and everyone tries to move on with their lives.
Just an attempt at writing a somewhat happy life where Carrie and Brody get what they deserved, move in together and try to balance their crazy schedules somehow.
Originally planned to be a one-shot work only but I keep coming back to them time and time again, so this is becoming a collection of drabbles and one-shots starring C/B and their families !
TW: strong language; PTSD; mentions of torture, and physical abuse.
Not abandoned work, just randomly updated!

Summary
Very self-indulgent because I've been using Homeland to process my feelings about my own bipolar disorder but I wanted to explore the transitions and what I've really struggled with. The show does a good job of portraying "pure" mania or depression but it's often more complicated than that. TW for self-harm, depression, and mania. No specific time frame but pre season 4.

Summary
Maverick is standing in front of the TV, remote in hand, studying the banner announcing Saul 'the Bear' Berenson's– up until a few hours ago DNI in office– untimely death. Mitchell is hopping up and down by his side, asking, "Can we see this, uncle Mav? Can we see this one?", excited about his choice of movie. Maverick turns to Meredith, like he's asking if that's the reason for the unexpected call or perhaps how she's handling it or what happens from now on– most likely any of those things that she's willing to offer, if she's willing to offer anything at all.
"Yes," she says, "I've heard about it." She's thrown off, Maverick can spot it.
oOo
After news of the Queen's death broke late on Thursday 8th, I felt strongly compelled to go watch a similar-themed scene from Top Gun: Maverick. This fic (hopefully) ties in with another fic I'm working on.
The MCD warning applies to the character of Saul Berenson, who dies off-screen at the beginning of this fic. The rest of the fic deals with the aftermath of his death. If that is upsetting to you in any way, feel free to skip this fic.

Summary
Part One:
The story starts in Season 5 as Quinn and Carrie are leaving the storage facility having secured her backup plan. At the end of Season 4, Dar Adal did not help Haqqani escape and Saul did not betray Carrie, but he is disappointed with her decision to leave the Agency and work with Otto During. Otto is not romantically interested in Carrie. There is no jihadist sarin gas plot.Parts Two And Three:
The plot is sort of an alternate version of S6 and S7, reimagined without Quinn having been exposed to sarin gas and being, you know, alive.COMPLETE

Summary
Brody and Carrie make it back from Iran, and Carrie has a choice to make. But while she mulls it over, she starts hanging out with Quinn.
«I didn’t need the “sorry this was a mistake let’s just be friends” speech before the op. Or ever, to be honest.»
Carrie bites her lip, takes a deep breath, and Quinn is suddenly terrified. But she surprises him. «I wasn’t gonna say that. Why did you think I’d say that?»
«Because you’re in love with a fucking terrorist!» There. He’s said it now. Fuck.

Set in season five. Title taken from the conversation Carrie has in the car with Etai prior to meeting with Saul in which Etai tells her "You broke his heart, you know, when you lobbied against his bid for directorship." And Carrie replies, "Both our hearts got broken."
